I absolutely love to just be outdoors. It doesn't matter if it's hiking, golfing, camping, or out reeling in a fish. I like to stay active and am competitive in swimming and track. I would much rather be up on a mountain enjoying life then on a computer right now.

Mountain Hardwear Makalu Pant - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Makalu Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 July 13, 2010

i got these pants in early spring and have loved them since. i originally bought them for work on a boat, but quickly found them to be one of my favorite pairs of pants. they do fairly well against the wind and the rain, but only for so long or light rain. the ankle zips make getting it really easy to wear a pair of boots under them. the inside for these pants feel really nice, the only way to compare the inside is its like a pair of yoga pants.

Awkward collar

Mountain Hardwear Super Wicked Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Super Wicked Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 July 13, 2010

I really liked this shirt and still do. the material feels really nice and it fits really well, but the zipper collar combo ends up sitting and looking kinda awkward. unlike most collard shirts the collar just kind of hangs like you want it, but because of the zipper it is forced to sit in one way.

Mountain Hardwear Logo T-Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 July 13, 2010

This is a nice shirt and thats it, its just a cotton t-shirt. so with that out of the way for a cotton t-shirt its very smooth and i wear it all the time, but i wouldnt pay full retail for the shirt.
On fitting im 6' 170 lbs and i have the large and it fits good. bottom line i would recommend this shirt if you find it on sale

The North Face Fire Road Trail Running Shoe - Men's

The North Face Fire Road Trail Running Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 February 15, 2010

These shoes look great and feel great, but it didnt take long for the parts of the shoe that were glued together to start coming apart. not completely but enough so that a new shoe looked like an old one. The shoe has remained very comfortable after 2 years though.

Mountain Hardwear Belay T-Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Belay T-Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 15, 2010

I own a couple of this shirt. I absolutely LOVE them and i know im going to be buying more in the near future. they are a great base layer or just t-shirt for every day stuff. the material is really breathable, but will keep you warm when you want it to. My only complaint is that the thumb holes will wear at your skin if you use them for a long period of time.

Also buyer beware on the NAVY. the stiching is a light blue not orange as pictured. the shirt still looks good

I've had this coat for about 5 years now and its still looks good. The coat it self is awesome its just a little bit short on me. I'm about 6 feet tall and have the large and some of my shirts hang bellow it. The coat itself is sound though. ive been in winds over 50 miles per hour and it didnt go through the coat.

Great Pants

Mountain Hardwear Freeride Pant - Men's

Mountain Hardwear Freeride Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 August 20, 2009

I was given these pants from my older brother who had bought them and only used them about once before he out grew them. I have gotten to use them dozens of times and have found that if I end up putting a hole in them or out grow them I'm definably going to get another pair. They are a great buy and you wont regret it.

The North Face Primero 70 Backpack - 3950-4600cu in

Rating for this product: 5 August 19, 2009

I haven't had this backpack for long, but it really is a great backpack. I haven't had a problem with my gear getting wet. The frame is amazing, it has great support and doesn't weight almost anything as far as backpacks go. It is the perfect size for everything that I have needed it for so far. I can get my tent, sleeping bag, wet suit all in it and still have a lot of room for other stuff like clothes and food. One really nice feature on this bag is that it has a special spot at the bottom for your sleeping bag that you can get to through the main compartment or there is a special zipper for it (it's also nice if you need to get at something you packed at the bottom of your bag.

Review Title

Mountain Hardwear Ghisallo 1 Tent 1-Person 3-Season

Mountain Hardwear Ghisallo 1 Tent 1-Person 3-Season

Rating for this product: 5 August 18, 2009

This is an amazing tent. The garage feature is a sweet feature to have. It is an amazing space to keep your gear dry, out of the weather, and out of sight.

Would recommend putting this tent up before you go out with it just so when you get out you know where the poles go and it will be a lot faster. As far as a 2 pole tent goes it is a very stable and strong design. The rain fly is kinda confusing the first time you put it on, but you'll get the hang of it fast. The small window in the rain flies door is a nice feature. The rain fly works amazingly, it truly is water tight. The tent has lots of mesh making it very breathable so that you don't have to worry about moisture or condensation. The tent is also very light and compact making it an amazing tent for backpacking.

The point is I would recommend this tent to anyone looking for a one person tent.

Mountain Hardwear Ghisallo 1 Tent 1-Person 3-Season

August 18, 2009

I live in the extremely moist area on southeast alaska and growing up have had many tents and waking up with moisture in the morning on the inside has always been a given. it hasnt really mattered on how nice of a tent it is there would always be some, but this is the first tent that i havent had that issue. ive used it over a year in rain, fog, overcast, and nice and clear weather its always been nice and dry on the inside.
