I have the sensor lens in mine for that very purpose, but you can check smith's website for light ratings on all of the lenses.

Bern Macon 8 Tracks Audio Helmet

Well my hat size is either 7 1/2 or 7 3/8 depending on my hair but my bern macon in size large works pretty well for me. If anything i would say its snug so you should be golden with a large.
