Bio:
I grew up with this group of yahoos. We always canoed, hiked, camped and adventured together. We had plans to backpack around the country. Life got in the way with families and what. Thirty-four years later, we are beginning to relive our childhood and are gearing up to realize our original ambitions.

Big Agnes Crater Sleeping Bag: 15 Degree Down w/ Mummy Pad
January 7, 2009
The specs show the "Temp Rating" as -5F. Is that a misprint? I assumed because it is dubbed "15 Degree Down" that the temp rating would be 15F.I tend to be cold, when not moving, due to low heart rate and blood pressure. I currently have a 20F rated (Slumberjack) synthetic fill bag that I froze my rear off in when only 32F. I was very disappointed. I don't want to spend this much and freeze my behind again.I have looked around and for the money/weight ratio, this bag seems promising. The design seems to make sense, and with the minimal weight, I plan to include a closed cell pad (7oz.) with it. All would be lighter than my current bag assuming the combination of the included pad and bag weight of 2lbs. 2oz. is correct. Thanks!
