I love these shorts! Honestly I just wear them around the house occasionally because I like the feel of them. I'm 6'2" 185lbs and the Large works just fine for me. They do a great job of "keeping everything together" and I don't feel it as much after those long runs in the middle of the summer day. A bit expensive, but I don't think I'll be running in anything else.

Decent for the job

Backcountry.com SynthTrail No-Show Sock - 4-Pack

Backcountry.com SynthTrail No-Show Sock - 4-Pack

Rating for this product: 3 July 31, 2010

Eh, they're sock. I could have done without the added cushion at the top, but it doesn't bother me too much. It's just a little more "show" than what I think a "no show" sock should have. Also, one of the started to rip as I was pulling it on one morning. I suppose they could get away with increasing the price more since it taught me a life lesson about not rushing and treating things of value better. I do really like these socks, and the fact that they have a big "L" and "R" printed on them help me to remember which foot each sock goes on.

CW-X Ventilator Web Top - Short-Sleeve - Men's

CW-X Ventilator Web Top - Short-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 July 31, 2010

This is my first CW'X running shirt as well and after being a "run in whatever t-shirt" type of guy I'll likely never run in anything else, if only because I spent so much money on this shirt. I'm 6'2" 185lbs and the XL is a perfect fit. Not only does this shirt help keep your posture and form, it also encourages you to make sure your abs are in good shape. You don't really want to have a belly hanging out of this.

I'm 6'2" 185 and a large fit me perfectly. It so soft my girlfriend actually likes curling up to me now, so needless to say, I've got plenty of these shirts in my closet!

I love this bottle! It's extra burly, tastes great and I've gotten loads of compliments on it from fellow gear lovers. It's hard to beat any piece of gear that has the goat on it!

This stuff is the bomb. I first got a taste of it while kissing my girlfriend, and needless to say, I started kissing her more often! I use it myself now, and love how effective it is.

Backcountry.com Merino Crew Shirt - Long-Sleeve - Men's

These are roughly the same thickness as an Icebreaker Tech-T. It's about a 200, maybe slightly less.

Rating for this product: 4 January 20, 2009

This is a great layer, I love to wear this around the house, and up on the slopes. The only thing is that it runs a bit large. I'm 6'2" 180lbs, and normally in Icebreaker i wear an XL. I got an XL in this, and I was swimming. A large works fine. Also, the Abyss/Smoke is a bit lighter than the picture shows.

Rating for this product: 5 January 16, 2009

This Balaclava is awesome. It's not windproof, but it blocks out the majority of the wind that comes against it. It's very warm, and doesn't ride up too much. It looks a bit odd when you wear it as a hat, but it is still functional.

I love this product! They're thick enough to keep me warm, but thin enough to breathe well. I'm 6'2" and 180 lbs, I like the XL, they're a bit baggy, but I like them that way.

These are nice gloves, the grip on the palms and fingers work pretty well, but if it gets too cold, you're better off getting something that has more insulation.

Backcountry.com Midweight Merino Ski Sock - 2 Pair

Rating for this product: 3 January 16, 2009

Love these socks, only I'm 6'2" and the S/M goes all the way up to my knee, and just a little bit above that. They're very comfortable, but the stitching on the toes is letting go, and I'm getting holes in the toe as well. I've only had these for about 2 and a half months.

Rating for this product: 5 November 28, 2008

I love this top! I'm 6' 2" 180lbs and I have an XL which works fine for me. I wear it around the house, or as the base layer to my snowboarding setup. This was my first piece of Icebreaker gear, and I've since bought socks, bottoms, and looking for anything else I can from them.
