Burton Q Snowboard Boot - Women's

Burton Q Snowboard Boot - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 March 23, 2009

I recently upgraded to the Burton Q from my 2006 Sapphires. The stiffer Q boots make for a completely different riding experience. These boots are much more responsive, which makes it easier for tight turns but eliminates the smooth feeling of cruising down the mountain that I had with my old boots. It took about an entire day to get used to the difference in responsiveness, but eventually I think I'll like them better as I get more accustomed to riding with them. I usually wear a size 8 shoe but I bought them in 8 1/2 and I'm glad I did, as my toes still touch the end. The lacing system is pretty awesome compared to standard laces. Overall, an excellent, high quality boot.

Burton Q Snowboard Boot - Women's

February 17, 2009

I'm an advanced rider currently riding Burton Sapphires which I love, but they are pretty worn out with about 75+ days of riding. I mostly ride trails and trees and don't spend too much time in the park. I'm considering upgrading to the Q or Supreme but am a little concerned about upping the stiffness factor so much. I understand the pro of more control but is there a compromise with comfort or any other reason I shouldn't change?
