Dream tent

Marmot Limelight 3-Person Tent w/ Footprint and Gear Loft

Marmot Limelight 3-Person Tent w/ Footprint and Gear Loft

Rating for this product: 5 August 11, 2011

I bought the 3 person version because it went on sale for cheaper than the 2 person. Plenty of space for 2 but 3 is pushing it. 2 vestibule set up is great if your sharing. Kept shoes outside after it rained and didn't get any worse. This tent is lightweight and very easy to set up even for a novice like myself. It rained heavy for a full day and this beauty not only stayed dry it didn't even collect condensation inside. Gear loft is a great little bonus for small things.

Good pad

Therm-a-Rest BaseCamp Sleeping Pad

Therm-a-Rest BaseCamp Sleeping Pad

Rating for this product: 3 August 11, 2011

May not have used properly. Didn't full up the way i thought it would with self inflate option. Slept well on this and kept warm. Temps only in the 50's so I will edit this after I use in colder weather. Gets 3 stars because of price. Found a lighter weight option at half the price that is highly rated so may try that. Keep you posted.

Great lightweight pack

Osprey Packs Atmos 50 Backpack - 2800-3200cu in

Osprey Packs Atmos 50 Backpack - 2800-3200cu in

Rating for this product: 5 August 11, 2011

Absolutely love this pack. An assortment of pockets throughout that help you break up your load. Pockets on waiste straps are good for trail snacks. Loops for trekking poles are easy to sinch up. Pack is lightweight but it's durable. I bought the large and it fits my 5 10 frame perfectly after some adjustments. Great pack for a 3 day jaunt into the woods.

Light and warm

The North Face Cat's Meow Sleeping Bag: 20 Degree Synthetic

The North Face Cat's Meow Sleeping Bag: 20 Degree Synthetic

Rating for this product: 5 August 10, 2011

This bag weighs close to nothing and it's super comfortable. Bag did not gather any moisture while in my tent recently on a camping trip to the Adirondacks. Rain was plentiful outside and the bag held off all moisture. Compresses as advertised. Temps got down into 50's so can't attest to the true rating but I don't see it being a problem.

Great light weight jacket

The North Face Diablo Wind Jacket - Men's

The North Face Diablo Wind Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 January 21, 2011

This jacket is perfect for getting around town on a cool day. Very good for blocking the wind. I bought this to use for mountain biking but decided he fabric would get caught on branches and could esaily tear. I now use it for golf in the spring and fall and it works perfectly. Sizes run true. Even feel like it repels moisture pretty well.
