Nope, not a wicking shirt. The crepe (crinkle) in the fabric is there to lift the fabric off the skin and breathe but the fabric itself won't absorb any moisture. You could try the Togo shirt from Horny Toad - it is made of a Tencel, cotton, poly blend which will wick easily and is super soft with a little bit of stretch. Or, as hot as you might be, you could try Icebreaker, the 100% merino wool company. Merino wool is very versatile and is designed by nature to keep you cool when it is hot out (by wicking) and to keep you warm when it is cold. Just think, the sheep can't shed their layers, their layers have to work at all temperatures.

The Penn and Pele jackets are light weight track jackets. Lighter than any sweatshirt but a bit more weight than a standard t-shirt. They have a smooth finish on the outside and a brushed finish on the inside so the fabric feels soft against the skin. I own the women's version, the Piper and it is a great mini-layer for SoCal living.

The Edina top is made from 100% micro polyester (brushed on the outside to give it the Cashmere feel). This fabric has been used by Horny Toad for several years, the newness is in the new colors for the season.

Fleece; check. Will dog hair stick to it... depends on the dog hair. I have a black lab and wear this fabric a lot and don't notice much, if any, stickage. My friend has a few Cashmoore fleeces and a mutt with really short and fine hair and it sticks like crazy. This fleece has a super, almost wind resistant, tight knit. I hope that helps.
