The North Face Amore Down Vest - Women's

Warm, cozy, and not puffy at all. Looks great with everything and has an awesome cut, plus a double zip! I splurged on this vest because it was pretty much the only waterproof, ripstop, down vest I could find and it's been totally worth it. Could use a little more room in the bust area though, I had to size up to make sure I could still wear a light fleece underneath.

Not as much as I'd like it to be. I took a spill into a creek last weekend and ruined mine. I didn't get drenched by any means, just dampened the bottom 3" but that was enough to make it borderline worthless. I'm still wearing it until its replacement (TNF Amore vest, which is fully waterproof!) arrives, but it's not really warm anymore.

Is jacket bulky or similar to the Item #TNF2497 that I have? Does the hood zip off? What is the waterproof rating? Is the liner a fleece jacket or a fleece-lined jacket?
