I miss these tires

Panaracer Fire XC Pro MTB Tire - 26x2.1in

Panaracer Fire XC Pro MTB Tire - 26x2.1in

Rating for this product: 4 April 29, 2009

I had these tires on a XC rig and they were wonderful. At lower speeds on paved roads between trails it felt like I was riding a tractor but as soon as I hit the dirt these things were great. These tires were very fast on dirt and cornered well. I was able to really lean the bike into corners on these tires. I put quite a few miles on these tires and sold the bike with them and they still had at least half their life left. These tires are a great deal on sale.

Not bad but not worth $165

The North Face Denali Fleece Jacket - Men's

The North Face Denali Fleece Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 April 29, 2009

This is a nice fleece jacket but I would never pay full price for one of these. The $165 price tag is WAY too much. I bought this jacket on sale ($77) and still think it was a little steep. I wanted another black fleece to replace a Columbia one that had seen "better days." The medium fits me really well (I'm 175lbs, about 5'10") and the their fleece material is very comfortable. All of my other North Face jackets are large and they fit the same as this medium jacket which I found to be a little weird (I had to return the large I ordered for the smaller size). I am a big fan of The North Face products and have five of their jackets but this one doesn't seem to out quality wise like the others.

Great all around binding

Burton Cartel Snowboard Binding

Burton Cartel Snowboard Binding

Rating for this product: 5 April 2, 2009

These bindings have treated me very well. I ride everything and usually ride pretty hard through the whole season and these have held up very well. They have a lot of adjustable options and have been comfortable. These bindings combined with my Burton boots make for a soft landing even when you come down hard and fast off a drop or jump. I payed full price for these bindings and so far it looks like I'm going to get my moneys worth. These things will last for years (as long as you remember to fold the high back down when you get on the lift!). On sale these things are totally worth the money. Nice job Burton.

A lot of compliments

Nixon Player Watch - Men's

Nixon Player Watch - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 25, 2009

I have owned this watch for six years and it still looks great. I wear this watch every chance I get and have put it through all sorts of abuse and it keeps on ticking. In the six years I have had this watch I have only had to replace the battery once. Not too bad at all. Looks great and feels good on the wrist.

Great board

Ride Concept TMS Snowboard

Ride Concept TMS Snowboard

Rating for this product: 5 February 25, 2009

I have used this board since January of 08' and love it. This board looks great and handles very well. This board is fast and handles the rough stuff with no problems. I love this board in the powder and it feels great off jumps in the park. The all mountain riding that this board is geared towards is definitely where its strengths are but it tears it up no matter where you ride.

The North Face Redpoint Optimus Insulated Jacket - Men's

The North Face Redpoint Optimus Insulated Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 February 25, 2009

My wife purchased this jacket for me for Christmas. I had never seen this coat before or heard of Primaloft. This jacket keeps me warm when the temperatures are in the twenties and blocks the wind very well. It is a little too short to use for skiing or snowboarding in my opinion. I love the insulated hood and would highly recommend this jacket.

Great for downhill

Five Ten Sam Hill Mountain Bike Shoe - Men's

Five Ten Sam Hill Mountain Bike Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 25, 2009

The soles on these shoes make it nearly impossible for your foot to slip off the pedals. They look good and feel good when you're just wearing them in the bar after a day of riding. I wish I would have bought two pairs at the price I paid for them. Great shoes.

Good but not great

Fox Mid Ranger Bike Short - Men's

Fox Mid Ranger Bike Short - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 February 25, 2009

I have used these shorts for about three years and they have treated me pretty well. The pockets don't feel very secure so I haven't used them to store anything I would care about losing. I have gone down more than a few times with these on and they have stood up to all of the abuse with no rips or tears. It would be nice it the liner was removable and if they were just a little bit longer. They can feel a little restricting at time but no to the point where they're uncomfortable.

Wish I had two pairs

Von Zipper Fernstein Sunglasses

Von Zipper Fernstein Sunglasses

Rating for this product: 5 February 25, 2009

These are the best sunglasses I have ever had. This style is the kind that looks right on my face. Adequate UV protection and sturdy enough frame. Definitely for casual use only. These wouldn't work out well for outdoor activities (unless it's laying in the beach of course). Wish I had purchased two pairs.

Great product

CamelBak Havoc Hydration Pack - 3L

CamelBak Havoc Hydration Pack - 3L

Rating for this product: 5 February 24, 2009

This is a very well made bag with a lot of awesome features. The padded camera pocket comes in handy. PLENTY of places to store just about anything you would want to take with you on a ride. I use this bag all the time. Great placement for the bladder. This bag has room for my rain coat, some snacks, spare tudes, tools, first aid kit, goggles (fleece lined pocket is a nice touch), and tire and shock pump. After all that is inside I still have the outside to strap my full face helmet and pads to! My favorite part about this pack it all the load stabilizing straps. These work very well and make it feel like you're carrying a much smaller hydration pack while you're ripping down the trail.
