Tramdock.com Dock Belt

Tramdock.com Dock Belt

Rating for this product: 5 September 29, 2009

I love the little things that BC does with their gear.

Aside from this belt being waterproof, looking dope, and being comfortable (read: not digging into the waist). It is little things like my title of this review that are engraved into the buckle.

I have the Large and on the belt it says 34-38. I am a 36 and I use the 4th smallest hole. I hope this helps.

Hot Damn I love this board!

Forum Seeker Snowboard - Wide

Forum Seeker Snowboard - Wide

Rating for this product: 5 April 17, 2009

It did take some getting used to as I came from a non-centered directional board.

Once I got my bearings this thing rocks. I have way better pop, more in air control and it does amazing in powder, groomers, glades, shush, and ice. I could not be any happier with this board.

I am also amazed how much faster this base is than my last board. I rode a Sims Chaos Wide and it was quick. For example, given a same starting speed on a catwalk, I would stay even, maybe pull away from my skier buddy. On this thing he does not stand a chance, while he is using his poles to help him move I am still gliding along.

Hands down my favorite board I have ridden to date.

Glades are my terrain of choice.

I am in the market for a centered stance board, I want to learn to ride switch without giving up my favorite terrain.

Is this a good board for this or is there a better one?

Thanks,

-Josh

When I first got them they seemed a little odd due to random stitching on the shorts. However, they wear nice, dry fast, and look damn good.

I have the 09 model and it is sick. The graphics are excellent and it rides like a champ. The centered stance is a nice improvement from my old setback Sims board.

Here is to many good years on this board.

SOG Knives Twitch XL Knife

SOG Knives Twitch XL Knife

Rating for this product: 5 March 23, 2009

I have used this knife for everything. including the remove of embedded object in my feet and on a finger.

It has stayed razor sharp and still has a great spring action.

I did have to exchange the first one as there was a defect in the blade. I only opened boxes (cut tape) and used it to cook a few times and the blade was noticeably dull.

The new one I was sent has made me truly love this knife.

Sessions Firefly Crosshatch Jacket - Men's

Sessions Firefly Crosshatch Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 March 23, 2009

I love this jacket. It is not that thick, however, a long sleeve t-shirt and short sleeve t-shirt underneath and I am toasty warm. Many different ways to run audio cable.

The waterproofing is excellent, I had lunch in some trees and then took a nap and was still completely dry.

My only quibble is that the removable powder skirt likes to unzip itself about 5-8", so I find that I am having to zip it up a couple of times a day.

Salomon Explor Over Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 March 23, 2009

I took this shirt backpacking at the Grand Canyon. Wore it multiple times, and never had a chance to wash it. It was super comfy, was long enough to protect my waist from the backpack belt, and has not shrunk after washing.

Buying more.

Primus PrimeLite DP Headlamp

Primus PrimeLite DP Headlamp

Rating for this product: 4 March 23, 2009

I bought a pair for me and the GF for backpacking the Grand Canyon. They worked well. I could have gone for a slightly wider beam width. The red LED was excellent for night and the 3 levels of brightness for the white LEDs was excellent. I am very glad I bought them.

Adventure Medical Trekker First Aid Kit

Adventure Medical Trekker First Aid Kit

Rating for this product: 5 March 23, 2009

This little guy came with me on a backpacking trip and really saved the day. the GF got blisters and the Mole skin was a life saver. It also helped to kill time. We were having a hard time falling asleep so we started quizzing each other from the medical guide book that is included. I never knew that if you need to keep a victims tongue out, it was cool to safety pin it to their lip.

Took this backpacking. They were super comfy. I did have to blow them up more as the 'self-inflating' feature is just foam. When blown up they were amazing to sleep on. Fairly durable too.

Super soft and nice and long

Tramdock.com Tramdock Logo T-Shirt - Men's

Tramdock.com Tramdock Logo T-Shirt - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 February 12, 2009

As the title says this is a soft and long shirt. I am 6'3" which makes the length the biggest thing for me as most t-shirts only come to my waist and when I wash them, even on low heat, they become too short. This shirt it excellent. Especially when purchased on Tramdock.

The only complaint is that the sizing chart is off. I ordered an XXL based on the sizing chart and it was way to big. Went to an XL and couldn't be happier.

Giro Fuse Audio Helmet

Giro Fuse Audio Helmet

Rating for this product: 4 February 12, 2009

I really like this helmet. I must say that I wish the ear pads were a little bit thicker to help keep my ears warm and block the wind. The fact that you can adjust the vents without having to take the helmet off is one of my favorite features. This helmet has already saved my skull numerous times. The only downside is that I now go bigger and faster as I know my noggin has an extra layer of protection.

Call quality is about a 3.5 out of 5. I never have dropped a call however, it crackles every now and then. Audio is great except for the fact that the BT dongle for my iPod drains the iPod batter in a day instead of it lasting almost a week. Thank god for wall/car/USB chargers.
