I love to rock climb & boulder, trail run, backpack/hike, kayak, ski, bike, swim, zipline, explore, go camping, climb trees, take pictures, paint, chase mountain goats, and laugh. I love to try new things and I'm usually at my happiest when I'm covered in paint, or dirt. I'm originally from Vermont and I am super sweet. Come say hello; maybe we can go outside and play. :-)

Coal Thrift Knit Beanie - toasty warm with Rasta steeze

Coal Thrift Knit Beanie

Coal Thrift Knit Beanie

Rating for this product: 4 November 9, 2008

..Bought this oversized beanie in a myriad of ultra-vibrant colors - Love the baggy fit and thick feel.. has a casual, floppy look that I love to rock on the daily. Only gripe is the yarn has a real loose knit and tends to fuzz a bit and catch on the velcro of my jacket.

Freezin' Beanie - 80's Hottness

Coal Freezin' Beanie

Coal Freezin' Beanie

Rating for this product: 5 November 9, 2008

I purchased this hat in the retro red w/ blue stripe - gotta love the 80's style and ginormous pompom on top. It has a nice, tight knit and the lower 3-4 inches is doubled in thickness/reinforced where it wraps around your noggin - seems like it will resist stretching from long-term wear. Overall a really stylish and comfy buy for the upcoming season; whether you're still stuck in the eighties or a baby of the 80's, like me.

Coal Script Beanie - Practical yet Awesome

Coal Script Beanie

Coal Script Beanie

Rating for this product: 5 November 9, 2008

Diggin' the 'new school'/retro look of this hat. I bought mine in the CKMY (light blue/black combo, with neon yellow/pink script) - it's super comfortable, and the pompom isn't overly large. The base is long enough that you can rock it all floppy-like, or fold it over for a more tailored fit if you'd rather. Major props; Coal did it again.

Arc'teryx C40 - Well made & Durable

Arc'teryx C40 Chalk Bag

Arc'teryx C40 Chalk Bag

Rating for this product: 5 September 26, 2008

The Arc'teryx C40 is a great chalkbag that comes in a smaller size than the larger C80 model. Being a petite woman, this bag is a great size for me; it's perfect for all those afternoons bouldering. The waist belt is simple (no frills), but easy to adjust and unbuckle. I love the stiff mouth of the bag - a drawstring within the inner lip allows you to tightly close the bag when not in use, and that stiff, reinforced mouth allows for easy, one-handed access when you need it most. The Schoeller dynamic softshell fabric is durable and will certainly stand up to all bouldering abuse/ wear & tear out there on the rocks. A very nice bag!!

CRKT H.U.G. - Durable, Sharp & Unique

CRKT H.U.G. Knife

CRKT H.U.G. Knife

Rating for this product: 4 September 25, 2008

..Bought this knife for a great price off Steepandcheap.com this past summer and have been very pleased with it thus far. I take it camping/backpacking and it has stood up to the test - I opted for the serrated edge and have used it for everything from fishing to cooking to cutting & sharpening tree branches for campfire cooking. It is very solidly built, and very sharp. I love the way it looks - such a unique, eye-catching design. This is a great knife; I highly recommend it.

Oakley Windblown - comfortable and warm softshell

Oakley Windblown Soft Shell Jacket - Women's

Oakley Windblown Soft Shell Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 September 16, 2008

This is a great jacket - very warm and cozy. I am 5'7" and slim; I purchased a Sm. and it fits perfectly, with enough room for layering underneath, allowing for all-season wear. It's a great wind/water barrier that moves with my body during outside activity - thanks to 4-way stretch material. As mentioned in other reviews, I also found the sleeves to be a little long, but the overall fit is really solid. I bought this in a bright periwinkle color and absolutely love the knit zipneck... it's FAR more comfortable than your typical stiff collar and much warmer, too. Only gripe- exposed softshell seams on the interior of the jacket. I don't find it uncomfortable, but it would certainly look nicer with some sort of liner.

Roxy Urban Hipster - Totally CUTE.

Roxy Urban Floral Hipster Brief Bottom - Women's

Roxy Urban Floral Hipster Brief Bottom - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 August 31, 2008

I love my Roxy Urban Floral bikini - not only is the suit itself made incredibly well, but the design is unique, and cut is flattering. The backside has moderate coverage but it's very comfortable, and stays put - even when I'm running around at the beach or pool. I am an active person who loves to keep moving while I'm having fun in the sun, and the Roxy Urban Hipster definitely keeps up with me!

Vaude Brenta - Awesome day pack!

Vaude Brenta 26 Backpack - 1585cu in

Vaude Brenta 26 Backpack - 1585cu in

Rating for this product: 5 August 30, 2008

I purchased this day-pack a couple weeks ago for all the weekend hiking I do and it is, by far, one of my favorite packs ever. Not only is it incredibly comfortable and adjustable, but it has a great vented suspension feature on the back which keeps my back cool and dry in the Utah summer heat. The colors are great and it also comes complete with a rain cover, compass and a padded ground mat to sit on when you need a water break. I take it everywhere. Highly recommended!
