This little item did wonders. Kept the moist sand from sticking to the bottom of the tent, making packup a breeze, no more wiping the tent as I roll it up. It insulated me one more layer from the cold desert earth & nothing stuck to it. Very light wieght. A valuable item in my gear.

What a sock and boot saver! If you have ever hiked the desert, you know what sticks to your socks and in your boots, it's a mess and hard to get those seeds and stickers out. These prevented everything from getting in. Worth every penny! no trouble with my snaps, but one of our guys did bust one.

We do a lot of desert canyon hikes and have found this filter to work great in the sandy water. Light wieght and easy to use. We usually wrap a coffee filter around the intake to keep the fine grit out of the filter. We lost one so we ordered a new one this year.
