Great Vest!

The North Face WindWall 1 Vest - Women's

The North Face WindWall 1 Vest - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 March 7, 2005

The Wind Wall Vest fits great and offers just enough warmth for those breezy days when you don't need the heavy armor. And on the coldest days it's a good piece to wear underneath without adding bulk. I never thought of myself as a vest-wearer but this one looks fashionable with a turtleneck or with a t-shirt underneath. A good addition to my winter wardrobe - 2 thumbs up!

Arc'teryx Gamma SV Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 February 6, 2004

Very nice jacket, fitted style but with room for a baselayer. Arc'Teryx is slightly higher in price than some other lines but the quality has never disappointed me.

Aurora Tights II - High Recs!

The North Face Aurora Tight II - Womens

The North Face Aurora Tight II - Womens

Rating for this product: 5 January 26, 2004

Speaking as a runner, these tights are great as a single layer in temps above 40 degrees. Under 40 degrees, or in windy conditions, they layer well with a light pair of tights underneath, plenty of stretch. And when the temps are single digits, these are perfect as a thick baselayer under windpants. They also pack well for travel and are easily washed in cold water, hang to dry.
