Good, but could be better!

Deuter KC Rain Cover

Deuter KC Rain Cover

Rating for this product: 3 March 9, 2009

It's the only full rain and wind shield for a kid carrier, which is THE ENTIRE REASON I bought a Deuter carrier...It does keep my kiddo dry and shielded from the wind (we HAVE to walk our dogs everyday - 2 weimaraners, need I say more?). However, there weren't instructions, not totally necessary but the worst part, you need another person to help you put it on!! The plastic hooks hook to (I'm guessing here) fabric loops and it's virtually impossible to work the tiny hook with one hand. I end up fastening the hooks to my jacket because I can't reach the loops on the carrier - and you can't put it on before putting the carrier on since the stand has to be pushed in for the cover to fit. It works and it's the only one out there that I found, so that's good but it sure could have been done better!
