Arcteryx shorts are a little weird for me. I run about a 29-30 inch waist, but 30 inch shorts from arcteryx make me look like I'm in an advertisement for some diet product. They don't fall down (thank goodness) - they hold at the right height, held by my hips. So, last time, I got 30-inch alibi shorts, they had this problem. This time, I got a couple pairs of gamut shorts with a 28 inch waist, figuring I'd send them back if they were too small. Well, they fit, and I think I like them better at 28 inches than 30 inches, but they're slightly tight. The gamut shorts feel like they're cut different than the alibi shorts, with larger leg openings, and shorter legs (they feel more square than the alibi shorts). The fabric and quality are quite good, and I'm happy I bought them.

It's a fairly comfortable T-shirt, and fits about as expected (medium, 5'10", 150lbs, narrow waist). The T-shirt has a nice feel to the fabric, and is a pleasure to wear. One drawback though, is that I experienced a little problem with spot bleaching (think from clearasil....). A few of my other shirts have fallen victim to the same problem, but others have survived for years with no problems. The advertised price is a little steep for a t-shirt, but unless you go for, say, organic cotton and that perfect fabric feel, you get an above-average t-shirt for the price. Wait until you can get it on sale though.

I bought this for my girlfriend's birthday, since she's always borrowing mine (I have the men's port/afterdark) It's pretty much what I expected, based on my experience with my own...warm, comfortable, what I throw on when I get home from work, and my go-to base layer when I'm out-of-doors and it's fairly chilly.

Just thought I'd mention that the 'raven' color is lighter than the picture would lead you to believe. It's more of a 'tan' than a dark brown.
