Great sweatshirt. Super warm.
The sizing runs a little big, though, so be careful

Petzl Elios Climbing Helmet - 2011

Petzl Elios Climbing Helmet - 2011

Rating for this product: 3 January 25, 2012

Pretty decent helmet. I would suggest trying it on at a store first, the neck strap isn't very easy to adjust and it sits uncomfortably to the side.
But all in all, its a good helmet for a cheap price

Perfect Pack

Gregory Baltoro 65 Backpack - 3844-4150cu in

Rating for this product: 5 November 20, 2011

This is an absolutely fantastic pack. I lived out of this guy for over 6 months while traveling around Europe and Africa and it never had a problem. Its extremely comfortable (more-so than Ospreys, in my opinion) and has just the right amount of pockets. Plus the pockets on the waist-belt are beyond helpful.

Good for a year

SmartWool PhD Outdoor Light Micro Sock

When new, these socks feel great! Unfortunately, mine developed large holes in the ankle and on the heel area after about a year of usage.

These are extremely comfortable socks (its like walking on a cloud of soft marshmallows!)
Unfortunately, mine developed pretty large holes in the back of the ankle and on the balls of my feet after about a year of use.

So great someone stole mine

Petzl Tactikka Plus Headlamp

Petzl Tactikka Plus Headlamp

Rating for this product: 5 November 18, 2011

I absolutely loved this headlamp (right up until the time I realized someone snatched it out of my backpack). I got a Princeton Tech to replace it, but I definitely miss the red flip-down lens, the brightness, and the adjustability of the light. Its 100% worth the $44 investment...now I just have to go make some more money...

Patagonia Minimalist Wavefarer Board Short - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 November 18, 2011

I absolutely love these shorts. They are a great size (they fit about an inch and a half above the knee) and are extremely comfortable. I've gone swimming, cliff jumping, climbing, hiking, everything in these. Plus, they have a killer style.

Freestyle USA Shark Clip Watch

Freestyle USA Shark Clip Watch

Rating for this product: 5 November 18, 2011

Great watch! The style is awesome (definitely different from most other watches out there) and it has held up well to water usage.
The only drawback is the watch "beeps" every time a button gets pushed (such as checking the date), which can be a bit of a distraction while sitting in class.

The North Face Ultra 104 Trail Running Shoe - Men's

August 7, 2009

Any chance of getting more of the Plaza Taupe Beige/Habanero Orange in a men's 7.0 in the next week?
I'm heading to Europe on the 20th and I need a good all around trail shoe.

Osprey Packs Talon 44 Backpack - 2600-2700cu in

October 29, 2008

What is a better multi-day pack? The Osprey Talon 44, or the Osprey Kestrel 38? I'm planning on backpacking through Europe and Asia next year, and I was looking for a pack to do the job. Since I'm planning on packing the bare-necessities, I simply need a great, light-weight backpack to last me for the year. Do you think one would be better than the other? (or other packs besides these two that may better suit my needs)
