Stoic Bombshell Jacket - Men's
January 19, 2010
Doug,
I'm 6'1" and 185lbs. Large is perfect. I ditched the insulated jacket last year since I ski hard through trees and bumps. My body temp rises really fast so was tired of getting overheated and not being able to regulate temp as well.
Having said that, early season at Winter Park/Mary Jane was in the single digits (below zero wind chill at times) and this jacket paired with the slim-fit stoic down sweater + patagonia base layer was just perfect. The ample number of vents allowed great airflow without losing the waterproofing. Did a roll through tree powder yesterday (buried up to my neck in snow) and I didn't feel a drop of moisture...good feeling.
Hope this helps.
