Salomon Shogun Ski

September 28, 2009

I'm looking for a ski that will work good at the resort but also be good in the backcountry with some AT bindings. Thoughts on this ski? I'm 6'6" and 210lb

I love these glasses, they provide lots of coverage and are really comfy to wear. Only one problem, the nose pads are a little close together but that probably just means I have a big nose

Mountain Hardwear Crucial Jacket - Men's

I;m 6'5" 210lbs and got the large cuz I didn't want it to be very baggy. If your looking to wear lots of layers it would need to be an XL. It's a super sweet jacket though, love it a lot and wear it all the time. Always looking for an excuse.

I've had this shirt for a year and just ordered another one I like it so much. It's really cumfy, the wool is not itchy at all, it's real soft. The shirt is also really warm. Wool is definitely worth the price!

Good Bag

The North Face Tundra Sleepingbag: -20 Degree Climashield Neo

The North Face Tundra Sleepingbag: -20 Degree Climashield Neo

Rating for this product: 5 August 28, 2008

Sweet bag, great quality. I'm a cold sleeper though and therefore use the bag only down to about -10F. But with my other down or synthetic bag or polar fleece liner I've used it down to at least -40F, probably colder. Good old interior Alaska winter!! It's a bit bulky but any synthetic colder weather bag will be.

I'm 6'5, 210 lbs and wear the Large, it makes for more of a fitted fit on me but means it would likely be quite large on you.
