Great for skiing

CW-X Stabilyx Tight - Men's

CW-X Stabilyx Tight - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 March 7, 2010

I highly recommend these for downhill skiing. I ski very hard, but at the end of the day, I do not feel the usual stiffness and pain in my legs or knees. Nor do I feel it the next morning. The first time I skied in them, my wife kept asking how they felt. I kept telling her that I don't feel anything. As tight as they are, I don't even know they are on. I have since ordered a pair for my wife, and she loves them too. My next purchase will be a pair of Pros for running.

worth the wait and the money

Outdoor Research Elixir Jacket - Men's

Outdoor Research Elixir Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 September 25, 2008

I've been searching for more than a year, and I finally settled on this really great jacket. Go for the Goretex over the alternatives. The money you spend pays off in dryness you feel. I've only used it once, hiking in a relentless rain, and it sure beats my Patagonia, which it has replaced. Can't wait to try it on the slopes in a sleet storm.
