Black Diamond Focus Speed Adjust Harness - Men's

Black Diamond Focus Speed Adjust Harness - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 October 21, 2009

obviously this harness has kept me alive, it passes test one.

when i collect my friends gear off the wall the flat part of the gear loops makes it easier to put it away than if they were just loops. The speed adjust on legs and waist is great! I also like how comfortable it is compared to my old harness. Sometimes i forget its on. I cant wait to put this thing on over my ski pants.

Good Climbing Shoe

Five Ten Prism Lace-up Climbing Shoe

Five Ten Prism Lace-up Climbing Shoe

Rating for this product: 4 October 21, 2009

This is my first climbing shoe. It has been good. i got true to my shoe size and at first they were REALLY tight, now they fit perfect after a half summer of doing a few climbs and bouldering. They seem more comfortable to me when i watch my other friends climb a wall, then tear their shoes off after rappelling down. I am sure there are better shoes for the $$ but these have treated me very well.

Great Goggle Lenses

Oakley Crowbar Goggle Replacement Lenses

Oakley Crowbar Goggle Replacement Lenses

Rating for this product: 5 October 21, 2009

I have grey polarized, and hi amber polarized. They are expensive lenses, but i love the clarity and field of view. I love the polarized tints too. The hi amber is probably the most rounded lens of any lens out there. I got the grey as a spring ultra bright day lens. The choice is yours, check out oakley.com they have a cool lens tint thing you can see what the tints look like.

WOW

Dynafit TLT Vertical FT Z12 Binding

Dynafit TLT Vertical FT Z12 Binding

Rating for this product: 5 October 21, 2009

I have had these bindings since last fall, when my legs are tired from resort skiing, i can still bang out a superior lap before the resort opens. The tour effortlessly. Kick turns (changing direction in the skin track) finally made sense to me after getting this ski. So light and you can lock in, what more do you need. The only problem i have found is that ice builds up under the toe, but just carry a thin tool with you to chizzle it away and make sure you are fully locked in. Also they are a bit pricey but should last years.

Great all around ski

Line Prophet 90 Ski

Line Prophet 90 Ski

Rating for this product: 5 October 21, 2009

I have dynafits on these in a 179 and they are the perfect touring ski for me. The metal is worth the extra weight keeping bindings attached to the ski and the ability to not back off scary terrain. This ski i think has been unchanged and changed many other skis for a few years, proving it was the prophet. Light, fast turning, and solid. The love groomers too. I am sure you could 'butter' around the mountains east coast or west coast. super playful!

Simply the Best

Line Mothership Ski

Line Mothership Ski

Rating for this product: 5 October 21, 2009

If you desire to dominate the mountain, this is the ski. I have both 185 (with dukes) and 195 with FKS RACE bindings and this is the ski. Multi radius turns, smooth ride, super durable. If you are a strong west coast skier you will fall in love with this ski. I think this ski breaks the rocks i hit with it because i have over 150 days on my 185s and they have minimal damage and the ski is more alive than ever.

STRIKE OUT

V.I.O. POV.1 Camera Package

V.I.O. POV.1 Camera Package

Rating for this product: 1 May 31, 2009

i completely agree with the statement below. this camera is cool if you like to film facebook / internet quality video. other than that forget about it.

if the sun is out the snow turns one color. oversaturated.

if the sun is not out the snow and sky are the same color.

on multiple occasions the file i captured would come back "invalid clip" really aggrovating.

luckily backcountry.com took my return. i put that money into a handheld HD camcorder. which was only a few dollars extra with 4 year warranty from best buy.
