I love this mid-weight base layer in the spring, when it's getting a little hot out, I find myself touring quite bit, and this isn't too heavy, you're body is breathing, and when the wind comes out, and you throw on your jacket, you aren't saturated from sweat. Great layer.

When it's the wet hiking/biking season in the fall and spring, this is my go to jacket. Good ventilation, good windproofness, good waterproffness, and a great weight to it.

These skis are straight up chargers! Atomic Atlas are playful when you need them to be, they stomp the sh*t out of a landing, and the tails are there to support you when you need it. They are wide under the foot with traditional camber all the way to the tail, but shaped with rocker up to the tip. If you have the need to charge, then look no further, these skis will amplify your skill set.

If you are looking for a goggle/helmet combo - THIS IS THE ONE. This $$ deal is pretty ridiculous as well. I wore this combo for 30+ days at the end of last season, and I am planning on running this set up all of this 09/10 year.

This helmet is the culmination of safety, good looks, function, and it's feather-weightedness. The lightest certified helmet out there, the thing is a looker, the Smith Phenom goggles work stylishly with the Maze, and I have a Med fit head, but I get the size Large - so I can wear a medium weight beanie under the helmet (be sure to take off the earpads if you choose to go this route).

These gloves have a perfect fit, your fingers have room to work, but they don't get pinched at the tips nor expand, so they don't leave you with a case of "flimsy fingers". You can grab your zippers no problem, grab your phone even. Oh, and they are versatile gloves, use em in cold weather or spring.

I wear these in the end of March/Spring months. I'm in Utah, so it still gets cold and the snow gets deep, it's not always sunny spring days. These gloves handle both conditions nicely. And the grip is cool, good for holding fresh cold beers after a day on the hill.

I am a big fan of ProBar. I stuck with the 'Art's original blend' for almost a year, I like my bars plain. Well slowly I started trying 'Superfood Slam', 'koka moka', etc. All of them ridiculously good tasting. But when I saw Kettle Korn Sweet and Savory Bar - I thought, uh, I'll try it, but I probably won't like it. I like it. It's in the rotation. Try it.

This watch is great. I have had the watch for a month. I am addicted to logging how much vert I climb and drop. I like this function when I am mt biking mostly. But I can't wait to use it skiing. It also has compass, sunrise/sunset, storm alarm, barometer, etc. Just yesterday I did the crest mountain bike ride starting from Guardsman and ended up at MIll D in Big Cottonwood Canyon. 822ft of climbing overall for the ride, and 3200ft down! I'll take it.!

This pad is great for car camping. You don't want to lug it around on a backpacking trip, and you certainly don't want to bring it on a bike tour. Great comfort, easy to use, get great sleep. Just too darn heavy to have it with you when you realllly want it.

I like these cause they taste good. You don't have to commit to eating them all when you open the package. They don't melt in the hot weather. They don't become solid as a rock in the winter skiing. Good health stats. MuyBien.

I absolutely love these boots. They have a sturdy, playful, flex that is very good for shredding off-piste, in the powder, and catching air. And when I get them on the groomers they perform very highly. The liners are great, minimal seams to press on your uncomfortable spots/bone spurs/growths/whatever you want to call them (I call em dinosaur hooks, everybody got one), and I love the booster strap, no velcro that gets worn out. Plus they're lightweight. A+ all around. Well done Atomic.!

I was in my first slide this winter on a mellow, what seemed stable, slope in the Alta, Utah backcountry. I didn't have an Avalung. I luckily didn't get buried - but if I had, I would have been in trouble. Immediately after, I thought "why in the hell don't I have an Avalung?" Exactly. You know when you go to the bulk foods area of your local grocer - and you see all the healthy/yummy assortments of nuts? And then you casually pass the dark chocolate section of the grocery store? I have these in chrome. I mountain bike in them all the time, and go to the gym. Whatever the wires are coated in - it makes them never knot up. And the sound quality is amazing.

I switched over to an iPhone last fall, and now I got these earbuds to pair up with the new phone. It's rad to be able to just push a button to talk on your phone - whether mountain biking, at the gym, or skiing.

This rack receives a C grade. Or Standard grade. It doesn't speak of high-quality, but it gets the job done. I've piled 4 bikes on this thing in Fruita and rallies some dirt roads - bikes stayed on. Been using it for 2 months now, 1 strap broke, but other than that it seems to be a sturdy, good, rack.

Smith always builds/crafts the best fit for hoodies. So cofortable, warm, not too heavy, and don't stretch out the bottom upon washing. A SICK hoodie.

These shoes are pretty sick. I've worn them as my everyday shoes, occasional mountain biking, and skating. The heel glue has become non-adhesive a little, but I have worn them quite a bit.

These headphones are the all-around, go anywhere, do anything - best. I ski in them, I work on the computer on them, I ride the stationary with em, I fly with them. They fold up, they look good, they sound good. GetEm.

Great shorts for biking, nice and long for a good look. Vents are awesome, don't know why I haven't seen anything like this - very nice feature for a nice breeze where it counts.

This little stove is not afraid to light up quick and cook/boil/get after it fast. I've had to re-light a few times in not so severe wind - but I'll overlook it. Stoked on this stove.

I like this bag. Could be a little more room in the knee area for wide stance sleepers. But comfort and warmth is exceptional. Perfect for Southern Utah in the Fall/Spring.

This T has a very comfortable fit. Neck isn't too tight around the neck - soft. Shirt stands taller, and the sleeves aren't too long that they go over your elbows - perfect fit. This t-shirt is bomb.

Let me just say I have had issues with skins in the past. FINALLY these BD skins are what I have been looking for. I've used them all season in the Wasatch and BC. Warm weather, really cold weather. They stay on, they stay sticky, they stay grippy.

Davos pant are the best snow pants on earth.! A great fit, functionality is very good, just the right amount of pockets in the right places. And with the high-back suspenders, you won't ever have soggy-ass again. Very comfortable.

A traditional nalgene is a bit too big for my liking to lug around when hiking or out in the backcountry skiing. This bottle is durable and just the right size. Very stoked on it.!

This coat is the perfect skiing coat. You can wear a thin first layer under this coat on cold days, and a thicker first layer under it on cold days. The jacket has alot of great features, clean look/design, and fits a little longer - which is great for keeping out the snow and wind from coming up your back. And the chin cuff is perfect. Great coat.

I live in Utah and ski in these gloves on cold Utah days (so not Montana cold), spring sunny days, and everything inbetween. They have a great fit, very cofortable, functional. And look good. Great glove.

This pack holds just the perfect amount of room for skins/trekkers, extra pair of goggles, water, snack, and extra (small) layer. The straps are adjustable for how far up or down you want the top strap to sit across your chest. This pack is pefect for day outings.

What's up with all these people saying the t-shirt is too tall? It's just right. And the best part is the arm sleeves are just the right length, they don't go past your elbows, most shirts that fit appropriately (longer), the sleeves go 3/4 down your arm to make you look like a thug with baggy-ass style. This shirt is slim, a little longer than most t's, and sleeves are adjusted accordingly. I LOVE the fit, look, style of this shirt. And it's soft.

Zippers are glove-friendly to operate. Pockets are fleece lined. Ventilation is in groin/thigh area - just where you need it. Thickness of pant is just right. Zipper on bottom of pant to cover boot accordingly. Waterprooof/windproof. Warm on cold days/light enough on spring days. Enjoy.

I like this jacket because it comes off simple, but has style. The buttons down the front are unique, look real cool, and functional. The jacket itself has a nice slimmer/taller fit and removable fur. I like this jacket with a decent layer on cold days, and coat with a first layer on the normal temp days. Get it!!

I've been wearing these sunglasses all year. I wear them hanging, boating, apres, recreating, etc. They have a sick look to them, and sit well on your nose and ears.

I like this jacket for my mid-layer under my shell. The lack of chin cuff makes it perfect for a non-bulky feel. Functional wise, it's a home run. And i wear it as a 'out on the town' jacket as well.

Atomic Thugs. Atomic has had a stranglehold on the racing scene for some time - and still does. Over the last couple years they have broadened their horizons with a big-mountain ski; the THUG. I have skied Alta every day for the last 2 weeks on this ski. I really like the ski. It charges through the crud - kind of bulldozes. And skis pow incredibly well. I am a big fan of this ski. Very mobile skis considering the dimensions. Nimble. Look out for the new bad-ass skis coming out from Atomic for next season!!!

I have been eating PRO BAR like it's going out of style for the last year, as a professional skier, I am out hiking at 4am and my day doesn't end until sunset sometimes. So, I am VERY selective in my nutritional needs when out there amongst it. I LOVE the ART's Original Blend flavored PRO BAR, eat it almost every day. I decided to step out of my comfort zone and try the Koka Moka. So good. Not in a 'weird' way. It just tastes good. I've eaten a few now, where I'll say to myself that I have to eat it over an hour period. I make it about 10 minutes every time.

I spend over 100+ days a year skiing/hiking. Every morning I eat I PRO BAR and a banana, providing me with the energy to hike/play/ski all day. SUPER FOOD slam is one of my favorite flavors. This Coat is great. It's a little longer/taller fit than the traditional Spyder fit. No wind comes up your back. When you cartwheel/starfish no snow is creeping up your back and getting lodged in the tops of your ski pants. It's super warm on really cold days with just a good first layer on underneath. And it looks cool.
