This video shows me checking my Suunto for heart rate before I drop into my first ski day of the year for 2010! Mt. Baldy Alta, Main Chute. I hiked up 2,000+ vert, and most importanly.. skied 2,000+ feet down!
My work out summary can be viewed on movescount.com: http://www.movescount.com/members/juliancarr
My average HR was 136. Over 2,000 calories used. From parking lot, hike, ski, back to car, it was 2 hours 48 minutes. Plus the altimeter in the watch also keeps tabs on total time hiking up, how many feet, idle time, and descent info. Plus it graphs it all amongst everything else!
This watch comes with software to download each workout automatically into movescount.com - it graphs your data, and helps you acheive your exercise goals.
I have been using my t6d for 2 months now, it is fun learning about the efficiencies/inneffincies of my body. I have had a great time training with the aide of this watch, knowing what my training effect is, and where my heart rate sits at, helps me pinpoint exactly what my body needs work out to work out. I am approaching the best shape of my life, and I know part of the reason is this watch! Crazy!
Besides, before this watch, I didn't even know what training effect, oxygen consumption, respiratory rate, energy consumption, and excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC) even meant!
I love this watch!

A bit stiffer in the tail than its contemporaries, they act more like an aggressive big mountain ski, yet they are very playful as well in the mini-golf. The BentChetlers float the fluff, bulldoze the crud, stomp the airs, and roy the groomers... Truly a remarkable ski.

This beanie was personally designed by pro skier Dash Longe. The robot sew-on label design was created by Dash's twin brother Hunter Longe. The cuff on the beanie is reversible with a stripe. The artwork is on both sides of the tag, so you can rock the beanie with or without cuff. 2 styles, one to shred, one to kick it with. The beanie is ribbed and has a tight, relaxed, grippy fit for riding. This beanie is silly fried mashed potatoes fresh, gumby gold style.

If you've worn headphones when you ride before, then you know you need to keep the suckers on your head. Well these babies have sticky rubber grip on the underneath up top. So they don't slide around on your beanie/head. Get some/after it!

I've become a big fan of listening to music on the recruits when I ski. You can wear them over your goggles VS wearing your goggles over the headphones. You can ski aggressively and not worry about them falling off. You can pull the headphones easily to the side to hear people or when you are skiing, if you prefer to hear the snow instead of the music, like me.

Here I am laughing on a cold, snowy, day of skiing/shooting pictures. When it's hot one minute when you are hiking, then really cold the next, when you start skiing you need to be able to rely on your goggles to not fog. This is NEVER an issue with the Smith Phenom Turbo Fan Goggle.

Hey William- I am 5'11" and weigh 165 lbs, I would say these skis are medium to soft in the tips, and medium to stiff in the tails. A perfect blend with the mild rocker combo. A playful ski up front, and a hard charging ski in the back. Best ski on the market.

Yo Webster. What kind of base layers you talking about? If you got bulky layers, then yes you should - but if you have pretty low profile layering, then don't buy up on size. This jacket has a nice long/trim, but baggy fit. The jacket is rad, just don't buy too big, cause the jacket is a perfect longer length to start.

Hey, read the review above for JJ reference:
written by eri3374524:
...is how my very knowledgeable and trusty ski tech buddy describes the Bent Chetlers.
He has skied pretty much every comparable ski offered by Volkl, Armada, K2, Rossignol, Line, other Atomic models, etc (he specifically made comparisons to the JJ, Hellbent, and Chopstick). According to him, the BC's are hands down- by far, the best ski out of the bunch. To avoid redundancy, his comments echo all the strong positives that have already been posted.
After a long conversation and some research, I took the plunge on faith alone. I opted to set up my BC's with Jesters, mounted 2.5 back from factory recommendation. I'll post my experience once I have had the chance to ski them.
