Nikwax Tech Wash

May 13, 2009

For grease stains I just use dish washing soap. Smear some one the stain and let it sit for a few minutes. Wash out as much as you can by hand and then wash how you normally would. You might have to do this a few time depending on how tough the stain is but works like a charm.

Quick Clip 2

Red Theory Helmet

Red Theory Helmet

Rating for this product: 3 March 9, 2009

For those who have audio ear pads make sure you have ones that work with this. These use the quick clip 2s and not the first generations. I have the Motorola BT headset and these will not attach to this helmet and Burton has no plans fixing this. Also I have a big head and an xl Hi Fi helmet fits a little snug but this thing will not fit at all. You might want to size up or at least go to a shop and try them on first.

Burton Ultrastrap Air

March 3, 2009

These are ankle straps. First generation burton toe/cap straps had issues with rise. Newer toe/cap straps are much better.

Size it UP

Burton AK 3L Hover Mitten - Men's

Burton AK 3L Hover Mitten - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 February 23, 2009

I don't know who sized Burton gloves and mittens this year but they need to be fired. Go at least a size up if you want them to fit without ripping the inner liners. If the size were right I would give it 4 stars. I wish the gauntlet would be longer to keep the pow out.
