There are pricey but a good buy. They are very durable. The belt is a little dinky, but it still functions well. I would buy these again. I got the earth collor and it looks more like khaki.

Pros: great look, and the speed goat is awesome
Cons: sqeaky cap, and the lid has to be on really tight to avoid leaking
I would buy this product again though.

Good quality, great fit, but not so waterproof

***Review update***
I ended up returning this jacket because of its dissappointing performance in the rain. The jacket leaked around the seams and then the inside of the jacket became soaked. The jacket seems a little pricey considering it is not waterproof.

Original review:

I love this jacket. I was a little unsure on the what size to order and I'm happy with what I bought. I'm 6'0" 155lbs, and I purchased a M. It is a very athletic fit, but I can fit a hot chilis long underwar and a patagonia R1 pullover without the jacket feeling too tight. Basically warm enough for 20-30 deg F weather. I'm tempted to buy a large too, to allow for one more layer.
I gave it four stars because of the zipper. It's a nightmare. I absolutely love this jacket except for the stupid zipper. It takes me 5-6 tries to get it each time. I would still purchase this jacket because it is a great softshell especially when on sale, just be ready to get pissed off when the zipper is sticking. The key is to just force it down as far as you can. It takes a little practice.

Happy hiking

Just took this bag on a weeklong trip to MX. It held my clothes as well as enough snack food for the week and I still had extra room. Eagle Creek is a great company and this bag exceeded my expectations. It is very well built, and the lifetime warranty is a testiment to their quality.

Eagle Creek Thrive 90L Pack

Eagle Creek Thrive 90L Pack

I love this bag so far. I used the day back for a week long trip to Mexico and it held up great. It holds a surprisingly large amount of stuff.

As for the main pack, more to come later. I'm going to use it for a two week trip to Africa this summer.

A few features to note: The water bottle pockets on the main pack are a little difficult to reach, but are large enought for nalgenes. On the day pack the side pockets are too small for a nalgene, but were great for sunscreen, chapstick, and snacks. The day pack also has a nifty back pocket that is hidden where you can stick your passport/ipod/camera. The main packs rain cover is great and very easy to put on, and the bag has a great feel over all. Unfortunately the bag is too big for carry-on, but I think the 65 L model would probably fit in an overhead bin.

If you have any questions, let me know. I got the Smoke color and it looks awesome.

I love these gloves. Great look and very comfortable. They tend to lose their warming capabilities at around 25-30. They're great for blocking the windchill though.
