Great Product

Yakima Stick Up Bike Rack

Yakima Stick Up Bike Rack

Rating for this product: 4 November 24, 2009

Bought this so my wife could easily load/unload her bicycle and she loves it. It is simple and easy to use. Just wish it was more easily removable with some kind of locking hitch pin but the system Yakima uses provides a great deal of stability to the rack which many hitch style racks lack. Plus I don't really have to remove it since it swings easily out of the way when accessing my rear door.

Large yes, roomy no, and uncomfortable

Crumpler Mahoubar Messenger Bag

Crumpler Mahoubar Messenger Bag

Rating for this product: 2 March 17, 2009

Although large it doesn't seem to hold as much gear on my daily commute as my smaller day-pack I've been using for four years. But my main complaint is that it is very uncomfortable, especially with a heavier load. I tried packing a laptop, which pretty much took up all the space, and the straps were so painfully digging into my shoulders so that I just couldn't do it. Not enough padding I presume in the shoulder straps. The "cut" of the bag just doesn't seem right so that when the inside compartments are loaded the outer pockets are rendered useless. Sadly, because I really wanted it to work, I've RMA'd it to bonktown.
