I bought this bag for snowshoeing and it's exactly what I was looking for. I have plenty of room for all my jackets, my gloves and crampons inside the backpack and the snowshoes fit perfectly on the outside and they are easy to take when I need them. The zipper is also a good feature, it allows to grab something without having to take off the backpack (of course you'll need somebody to do this, unless you are very flexible!). The bag is hydration compatible, my Camelback fits well. I am 5.4, 130 lb. and the M fits perfectly. I used this bag for the first time yesterday on a 5 hours snowshoeing tour and love it !
