I keep this rope in my pack incase I come across sketchy terrain. Sterling makes great ropes and the price is reasonable as well.

This harness is super light, takes up minimal space in your pack and is significantly better than the alpine bod. Oh and the price is very reasonable.

This is a great knife at an affordable price. The blade is sharp and the clip is quite handy.

Coal makes awesome beanies. I have a bunch of the adult frena beanies but I wear the kids as well when I want a tighter fit instead of slouchy.

This is a great lightweight glove it's perfect for park and springtime riding. The austin smith colorway is sick.

The Battery BacPac is great if you want to increase your recording time but don't want to fumble around with swapping batteries in the field.

The BacPac is a excellent accessory to acquire for your gopro. Having the ability to test camera angles and review footage in the field makes fro a much more productive day out.

At $23 this is worth it to keep you shooting all day.

These extra mounts come in handy if you don't already have some of them from the other mount kits.

The cartel provides excellent response, great cushioning and I like the new highbacks much better than old ones. Also the new toe caps are dope and have a better fit than previously.

This top is awesome it does an excellent job at wicking away moisture and fits great. I'm 5'9 165lbs and I got a medium.

This mount is great for snowboarding, I prefer the chest mount for skiing though. You do need a wider ski pole but you could probably tape it up as well if your pole is too skinny.

This is another great sock from SmartWool. It is a lightweight sock but will still keep your feet warm, also it has padding where you need it.

This sock is lightweight but still has good padding on your shins. This is an excellent sock for hikes and touring. I have become hooked on SwartWool and begun swapping out both my ski and snowboard socks with SmartWool socks.

This sock is awesome, it keeps my feet warm and has excellent padding. SmartWool makes great products.

This hoody rocks, its super comfy and is great for park laps or just strolling around the town.

These mitts are awesome, they will keep your hands nice and toasty and the palms give you an excellent grip. Also the cuffs do a great job of keeping the elements at bay.

The Sherlock is sick, I have been looking a twin board that floats well in powder and has a freestyle feel to it. In my opinion the Flying V is the best rocker that Burton makes and the Sherlock performs great all over the mountain because of it. Having camber under the feet gives this board the grip to rip and turn that many rocker boards lack. Also I love the channel, I have a difficult time straying from Burton now because on all of my channel boards I get the best possible stance options.

The SLX has become my favorite boot from Burton. It fits my foot like a dream and has a great flex (7/10) for my riding style. One of the biggest selling points for me is the Vibram sole, I did a lot of hiking in the SLX and the Vibram sole provided plenty of grip while keeping the boot extremely lightweight. These boots are expensive but are worth it if you ride a lot or highly value comfort. Let's face it if your feet aren't happy how are you gonna have a good day riding!

Full tilt makes great boots. These boots perform great all over the mountain and are comfortable. The intuition liners are super comfy, I highly recommend getting them properly heat molded at your shop. I also like that they are wider last than on the previous high fives.

These insoles provide excellent support and cushioning to keep your feet happy all day. I'm now using them in my Burton SLX's and they have drastically improved the fit of my boots. Also the heel cup does a great job of keeping your foot locked into your boots. If you still riding stock insoles its time for change. I highly recommend these insoles or the sole softec regulars for snowboard boots.

The malolo is one of the best powder boards in my opinion it floats in pow with minimal effort and handles like a dream. The tapered design and s rocker make it super easy to keep the nose up no matter how deep it gets. The reason I like the malolo so much is that it kills in the pow but it is still fun to ride on the groomers and a few inches of fresh.

I love this jacket I got the black travis print and it looks dope. I like the fit on this jacket it fits me perfect in the chest, arms and is a little long on waist. I purchased a large and I'm 5,9 168lbs. Also one feature I was stoked on was the lycra wrist gaiters. I have many jackets that have them but none of them fit well. The gaiters on this jacket are excellent.

The Phenom is one of my favorite goggles. It has an excellent fit, great peripheral vision and never foggs up on me. Smith makes sick optics and stands behind their products with a lifetime warranty. Oh and they come in a bunch of dope color ways.

I owned the original tracker which I was very happy with and I can say again I am very happy with the new tracker 2. The new tracker has very little lag time. I also like the pull to search feature as well as the reduced size of the unit. BCA makes some of the most user friendly beacons on the market. So keep it simple and be safe with the tracker 2. If you looking for a more sophisticated beacon the Barryvox Pulse is a great option.

I love this top it is one of the most comfortable and functional layers I own. It works great for me in just about any type of weather. Also on hikes up the 1/4 zip is great for releasing some heat.

The go pro is small, light weight, and takes amazing quality footage. It also functions as a time lapse camera. The battery life is very impressive and for almost $24 you can have an affordable spare. I'm really stoked on this tiny little camera I have had other POV cameras in the past but nothing as good as the go pro. The chest mount is a must have if you skiing.

The JJ's are probably the most versatile ski's out there. They are super light and nimble so you can kill it all. I have mine mounted at the factory recommended with marker dukes.

I usually buy a pair of these gloves every season now. They are thin, easy to grip with and the glacier print is super steezy. While this is mostly a glove for warmer weather you can wear them in the cold if you have a good liner.

This bag works perfect for me, I can fit my Armada JJ's 175, poles, helmet, outerwear, some first layers, and my avy gear.

The chest harness is the best mount for skiing in my opinion. I find the helmet mount much difficult to use. Also its very easy to get on and off.

I Have a bunch of 32oz nalgenes and have been looking for something smaller to fit in my pack. The 16oz is great if you don't fill up your entire bottle or just need to save on weight and space. Also it has a goat, nuff said.

I used to dislike just about everything about wearing a helmet but there's no denying that a helmet protects your head. Smith has changed my mind about wearing a helmet. The Maze is truly the best helmet I have ever worn. Its insanely lightweight, fits perfect with my smith phenoms and i/o's. Oh and did i mention it looks dope too. Buy one, wear one, and be safe in one.

These pants fit great and are really light weight. I'm 5,9 and got the medium which are slightly baggy but not super baggy. The pants also have plenty of pockets.

I just picked up a pair of the 140mm's for my Armada JJ's 175cm. The tool Black diamond included makes it super easy to trim the skins to fit. I have talked to many people that have been using these skins for years and they all love em.

The I/O is one of the best goggles out there it has excellent peripheral vision, fits great and works awesome with helmets. Oh and did I mention it is a piece of cake to change the lenses. Buy em, wear em and be stoked.

In my opinion the tracker is one of the easiest beacons to use. I have tried Ortovox's F1 beacon and I quickly discovered how much easier the tracker was to use, BCA makes it simple by providing directional arrows with the distance to the buried skier/rider. I'm sure with plenty of practice with an Ortovox beacon I could have become more efficient and effective in my searches. I still require much more practice for multi burials.

I put these in my Burton SLX's and my feet could not be happier. The softecs provide plenty of support and comfort for my feel all day. Stock insoles just don't cut it buy these you will be stoked.

This is my second pair of Sole's, I put them in my full tilts and they made a world of a difference. The thin sports keep your feet happy in tight fitting footwear.

I upgraded to the Agent from the Black Diamond Bandit avalung and I'm stoked on it. I spent most of last winter riding side country but i'm looking to venture into the backcountry as well now. The Agent provides the additional storage space that Bandit lacked for my backcountry tours. It also has a great ski carry system and a pull out sling to carry your helmet.

The blue iridium has become one of my go to lenses. It's super versatile in various light conditions from gray bird to medium bright days.

Oakley makes some of the best optics out there. The fire iridium is great for those sunny days and reduces eye fatigue.

These poles work great for backcountry skiing or boarding. They are lightweight, collapse down to a nice size, and are durable. Black Diamond always makes great stuff!

These gloves are low profile, easy to move in and super steezy.

The realms are great goggles. They have sweet color ways good padding and the replacements lenses are pretty cheap. I don't think their lenses re quite as good as smith and oakley though. Also the googles work well with RED helmets.

The ion has always been one of my favorite boot models. I've owned 3 pairs and have always been very happy with them. The ion is the second most supportive and responsive boot burton makes. It the ideal boot for all terrain riding although i rocked em in the park alot. The reason I gave this boot 4 stars was because this years model has a very different fit than previous years. It did not fit my foot as well as it used to but everyone's foot is different so try these on and if they fit good buy em you'll be stoked!

The tech t is one of my favorite first layers. They have a great loose fit to them. I had to go down to size small and i usually wear a medium. The sleeves are longer too. The tech t is my comfiest layer next to my marmot midweights. It's dope for spring park sessions, hiking, or just every day layering. Buy it!

This jacket is awesome you can wear it pretty much all season thanking to the zip in/out layering pieces. I never really used the track jacket but i like the vest for colder days. It also has tons of pockets to stash all your stuff.

I love this jacket . I got the aqua skulls and get compliments on it all the time. It definitely runs big, I got a small even though my other 686 jackets are medium.

I'm not a huge fan of this helmet mainly because it did not fit me as well as my smith. I did get alot of compliments that it looked cool though. I'm sure it will work out better for most people.

The Cosmo is lightweight and easy to change from low beam to high beam and vice versa. It is also fairly priced. Buy it!

I picked up a pair of these while my Burton SLX's were being warrantied. The intution liners are pretty sweet after having them heat molded i had no pressure points and great fit. The lashed is a softer boot but i had no issues with support. They performed well in the park and the rest of the mountain. After doing some hiking in them i can say you really do notice the lightness of the boot due to STI soles. Also the boots have good treds so you can keep your footing.

After three pairs of Ions this has become mt favorite boot. I have never had a boot that fit me so well. The SLX has plenty of support but articulating still lets you get your tweak on while maintaining excellent ankle hold. The thermic system is a real plus too if you spend alot of time in very cold conditions.

I love this helmet it has a great fit, its super light and it works great with my smith phenom goggles.

The redpoint is warm, light and easy to pack. Oh and did i mention it has primaloft! I just wish it had pit zips!!!

Tech wash is the only product i use to clean my outerwear. It always does a great job at removing stains and odors from my outerwear.

I rock this hoodie all the time. It's great for fall and spring riding. Also bonded fleece does a much better job at keeping the wind elements at bay compared to standard fleece.

These mitts are so warm and comfy but are great even on days that aren't freezing too. you can't go wrong with burton's ak line!

I love this shovel, it fits perfect in my black diamond bandit avalung pack. The shovel is well designed, having the handle collapse into the blade can save you some time when you need to most. It also won't weigh your pack down since its pretty light. I convinced a couple of my friends to purchase a deploy shovel and they are very happy with it as well. If you want a bigger blade than the deploy 3 go for the deploy 7.

The probe is light weight and well built. Its also extends very quickly. Luckily I have only had to practice with it.

Dakine makes some of the greatest pack out there! The heli pro has plenty of room for all your gear and sits real comfy on your back. My favorite features on this pack are the padding on the snowboard carry system and the pocket on the waist belt. Buy this pack trust me you wont be disappointed.

Great pack very with low profile so you barely notice you have it one. The bandit is best suited for side country or short backcountry trips because it does not have much space for more than the essentials (probe, shovel, nalgene or bladder, extra layer, and extra goggles. Look into one of the larger packs like the agent or covert if you need more room.

I like a low profile and light glove so these work pretty well for me. I would say it is mostly a spring weather glove but i have used it in colder weather while hiking and was fine. I really like the vipers for the park though they are easy to move and grab in.
