K2 ObSETHed Alpine Ski

August 19, 2009

I own last years model at 189. I'm 5'10" ; 150, and I really enjoy the ski. I had no problem swinging it around on the steeps. The hardest part for me was getting used to riding in the moguls with such a fatty, but if you are used to fatter skis then you should be okay. Last years has a pretty mild flex. I heard a few folks complaining that it was to soft for them, but for me it was great.

Super Sexy Skis

K2 ObSETHed Alpine Ski

K2 ObSETHed Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 January 4, 2009

I have been on the 189 Obseth roughly 20 times so far this season, on variable conditions. I weigh approx. 150 and 5'11", and as a lighter person i would say that the flex is perfect for me. They obviously rock in the pow, but they also carve on the groomers very well. They ride suprisingly smooth in moguls. There is a little bit of chatter when charging the gnarly crud, but not enough for me to complain. Overall I am very pleased with this ski, and rocking the Marker Baron with these skis makes em even sexier and more versatile.

Line Limited Edition Spirals Anthem Ski

October 10, 2008

Unless you plan on sticking to the park. I would recommend getting something a little more burly (stiff). The Anthems will be to soft for mach speeds and bombing cliffs, but if you are fairly small in stature they may be stiff enough (say 125 lbs or less). As for riding pow I own a pair of Line skis that are 85mm at the waist and they do fine inbounds and yes that's on 24" days.
