K2 Hell Bent Griffon SchizoFRANTIC Ski

June 12, 2011

I wouldn't go with this set up then..I recommend Fortitudeskis.com 's Yeti. Similar to the Rossi S7 but handmade in Colorado and a much better ski..not quite as wide but plenty of early rise for your floatation.

Best Boot Manufacturer!!

Full Tilt Konflict Ski Boot - Men's

Full Tilt Konflict Ski Boot - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 October 5, 2010

These are the most amazing boots. They are warm and comfortable. I can wear these all day in all conditions and not have to be carried off the mountain. The flex is not the stiffest on the market, but for me the stiffness is great, it allows for me to stomp big airs and not worry about shin bang all season long. Check out Full Tilt's line up I'm sure there is a boot you'll love!!

Merrel's Outlast

Merrell Moab Ventilator Hiking Shoe - Men's

Merrell Moab Ventilator Hiking Shoe - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 October 5, 2010

I have owned a pair of Merrel hiking shoes for 5 years. They have to be one of the most durable and comfortable shoes that I have ever owned. They with-stood the puppy years of a yellow lab. Years of backpacking, hiking, climbing, and just normal wear and tear. If you wanna buy a good product buy Merrel.

Great Sock!!!

SmartWool PhD Ski Ultra Light Sock

SmartWool PhD Ski Ultra Light Sock

Rating for this product: 4 October 5, 2010

I actually prefer the lightweight sock with extra padding in the heel and shins, because it helps prevent shin bang and also hold my heel inside the boot better. For me the best part is wearing a lightweight sock inside my boots, because the thinner the sock the better for my feet. It doesn't strangle your feet and allows for good blood circulation when your boots are cranked down tight. Smartwool makes a great product.

K2 ObSETHed Alpine Ski

August 19, 2009

I own last years model at 189. I'm 5'10" ; 150, and I really enjoy the ski. I had no problem swinging it around on the steeps. The hardest part for me was getting used to riding in the moguls with such a fatty, but if you are used to fatter skis then you should be okay. Last years has a pretty mild flex. I heard a few folks complaining that it was to soft for them, but for me it was great.

Super Sexy Skis

K2 ObSETHed Alpine Ski

K2 ObSETHed Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 January 4, 2009

I have been on the 189 Obseth roughly 20 times so far this season, on variable conditions. I weigh approx. 150 and 5'11", and as a lighter person i would say that the flex is perfect for me. They obviously rock in the pow, but they also carve on the groomers very well. They ride suprisingly smooth in moguls. There is a little bit of chatter when charging the gnarly crud, but not enough for me to complain. Overall I am very pleased with this ski, and rocking the Marker Baron with these skis makes em even sexier and more versatile.

Line Limited Edition Spirals Anthem Ski

October 10, 2008

Unless you plan on sticking to the park. I would recommend getting something a little more burly (stiff). The Anthems will be to soft for mach speeds and bombing cliffs, but if you are fairly small in stature they may be stiff enough (say 125 lbs or less). As for riding pow I own a pair of Line skis that are 85mm at the waist and they do fine inbounds and yes that's on 24" days.
