Osprey Packs Aether 70 Backpack- 4000-4600cu in
March 16, 2011
Hi All,
I'm trying to decide between the 2009 version of this pack (Aether 70) and a Gregory Baltoro 70 (2010 version). The trip is Mt. Whitney and area trails, over about 5 days. I'm new to these brands and type of pack. Can some of you describe the pros and cons of each pack, and give your opinion of which one to get?
Thanks!
Barrett

Deuter Kid Comfort III Carrier

I know that the manufacturer says it's good for something like 50 lbs... but how big (tall/long) of a kid can this comfortably carry? Is it for a toddler, or a baby?

Big Agnes Copper Spur UL3 Ultra Light Tent: 3-Person 3-Season
August 17, 2008
I'm trying to compare this tent (copper spur UL3) versus the Nemo Losi 3. I can't decide between them, because I don't have much experience with either brand or with tents in general. Does anyone have advice on the pros and cons of each? Thanks!

I think that the weight listed for this tent is wrong. The manufacturer lists it as 7lbs, 7oz.

Is this tent really seam-sealed or taped? The Big Agnes website says it's taped, but this website says sealed.

NEMO Equipment Inc. Losi 3P Tent: 3-Person 3-Season

What are the pros/cons to seam-sealed, taped seams, or neither? Why the difference?
I'm looking for "the best" 3-person, 3-season tent, but it seems that there are endless combinations of details out there. Anyone have advice on how to pick?
