Patagonia Down Sweater - Women's

August 9, 2008

I don't have any experience with Marmot products but I'm familiar with the Patagonia Down Sweater and Tuolumne Meadows in August. The Down Sweater is a lighter version of the traditional down jacket (and Patagonia makes a great one of those too). It's less "puffy" than the traditional down jacket which means fewer insulating feathers. However, with 800-fill power, it should keep you plenty warm in Tuolumne Meadows in August. It stays pretty warm there in late summer. -PatagoniaCommunity.blogspot.com

Patagonia Critical Mass Bag - 2800 cu in

Rating for this product: 4 August 7, 2008

Some really nice new features like a covered laptop compartment and zippered end pocket, zippered back pocket, and improved shoulder strap. Warning: this is a big bag. Will hold a lot of stuff. I've written a detailed review with additional pictures on my blog: PatagoniaCommunity.blogspot.com
