Marmot Kompressor Plus Backpack - 1100cu in

May 14, 2012

I believe you're referring to the ice axe/pole loops. The head of the ice axe/tip of the collapsed pole sits in the flat loops on the bottom, and the shaft is held against the bag with the bungy loops that are near the drawstring. It's just short of a good design: most packs with this same setup have a little hook on the bungy loops that make this a lot easier (e.g. Lowe Summit Attack 30).

New Balance Watches N2 Heart Rate Monitor

Rating for this product: 1 May 17, 2010

When I opened up the box I thought this was a women's specific watch. The circumference of my wrist is about 8.5 inches and this watch is waaayyyy too small to fit comfortably.

Lowe Alpine Summit Attack 30 Hyperlite Pack - 1800cu in

June 24, 2009

Well, Shadrock, the ingeniously designed compression straps allow themselves to be twisted into an ice axe loop as well as keep everything nice and snug.

La Sportiva Fireblade Trail Running Shoe - Men's

June 16, 2009

I've been running Montrails for quite awhile and, as is the custom, normally get them 1/2 size up. How would these compare? My street shoe size is 10 & 1/2 and I didn't see any comments on the size of the toebox on the fireblades.
