La Sportiva Crosslite Trail Running Shoe - Men's
July 25, 2009
These shoes do not come in a 'wide' size. In fact, they are quite a snug, narrow fit by design.
A 9 1/2 would probably be closest to a 43.5 (since these come in euro sizes)

La Sportiva Crosslite Trail Running Shoe - Men's
July 25, 2009
It probably depends on the individual, but I start to get some swelling/discomfort in the patellar tendon (just below the knee) during lengthy, technical downhills on runs over 20-25 miles or so. Personally, I go with a slightly more protective shoe (like the FIreblade) for such efforts. Anything shorter and I'll be in my Crosslites -- I love em.

Marmot Kompressor Backpack - 920cu in
June 7, 2009
Have you checked out the HPL packs by Nathan? Many trail and ultra runners swear by these. They have a snug, 'vest'-like fit that keeps them from bouncing around so much and thick, soft straps that wick moisture and don't chafe. I can personally recommend the HPL #020.

Inov 8 Roclite 312 GTX Trail Running Shoe - Men's
March 27, 2009
I love my Roclite 295s but had a recent wet/muddy overnight trail experience that left my feet (and shoes) soggy and cold. I've determined this is the shoe I need... when will they be in stock?

Mountain Hardwear Wicked Tech T-Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Men's
August 10, 2008
The neckband is elastic enough where you can easily slip your noggin through it, but not so stretchy where it would permanently stretch out of shape (unless you were abusing it, of course). I personally don't like really tight neck bands that chafe or feel restrictive in anyway and these exhibited no such problem.

Nathan HPL #008 Race Vest
August 9, 2008
So does this thing bounce all over the place when you run like ALL of the Camelbaks I've tried? It looks like it has some sort of strap on the back that when cinched actually pulls the pack close to your body... does this work? If it does, perhaps Camelback could pick up a few ideas...
