Mountain Hardwear Pacer Skort - Women's

Mountain Hardwear Pacer Skort - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 September 16, 2009

This skirt fits and looks great! I'm a mountain runner, and not really the skirt-wearing type, although I did run in it once and climbed Mt. Whitney in it just for kicks....(with crampons and knee-high gaiters...) I mostly wear it after running or just around town. The fit is very flattering and it's extremely comfortable. I actually own a SM and XS. The only things I would change about it are the liner, and the pocket. The liner fits great but it's too thick/a bit warm. And the pocket in the front is too thick, so to put anything in it looks kinda bulky and ruins the cute fit/line of the skirt. I actually cut the pocket out on my SM skirt. I like both sizes though, the SM is a bit looser fitting/longer, the XS is more fitted/shorter, just depends what mood I'm in. In the pic I'm wearing the SM.

Montrail Streak Trail Running Shoe - Women's

October 10, 2008

I ran a hard 50 mile trail race in these shoes and they were awesome!Great support, stable, great traction, sticky/grippy, good protection underfoot, lightweight, kept my feet pretty cool.My only gripe is the tongue, it's really thick/bulky and I'm not sure why it needs to be. I like more of a sleeve-type, but oh well.Everything else is right on. I've worn many different shoes and I've found with the Montrails, they all fit a bit different. Some are narrower, like the new Hurricane Ridge XCR---I wore the older ones for years and loved them but can't fit into the new one. They are shorter, VERY narrow, but my foot is petite/narrow. The old ones had a much wider platform and toebox. The Streak is great for a narrow foot but still has a roomy toebox. I also like that they are pretty low-profile. I tried the Hardrock and it was just way too much shoe for me. As for Salomons, I've worn the older models and the Streak has a similar fit, narrow but with a roomy toebox. Good luck
