  • Bio:

I'm from Grand Rapids, Michigan. I am 18, and a current college student. I have been all over the country. East coast, Maine, Appalachian Mountains, Colorado Rockies, Arches, Mesa Verde, Grand Canyon, Banff, Glacier National Park, Yellowstone, Yosemite, Crater Lake, Sequoia National Park, the Badlands, Alaska, Olympia National Park, West Coast, and British Colombia. My family has always been big into hiking. I also love backpacking and mountain climbing. I haven't done anything huge only a few fourteeners. I've climbed Harvard, Oxford, Belford, and Yale. Being in school, I don't have a lot of time to fuel my hobby but I hope to double my mountain total this summer.

Arc'teryx Delta AR Zip Neck Shirt - Men's

Arc'teryx Delta AR Zip Neck Shirt - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 April 28, 2009

I bought this shirt last fall and have loved it since. It is incredibly light weight, and very warm. I was very impressed with it's ability to insulate. I live in west Michigan and this fleece took the windy fall weather head on. Its a great fleece/shirt and would recommend it to anyone.

Marmot Ama Dablam Down Jacket - Men's

Marmot Ama Dablam Down Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 12, 2009

The jacket was designed as a lightweight packable midlayer, and in those areas it is perfect. It is not meant to be a outerlayer. It is extremely light, retains its loft very well, and packs down nice and small. I have been very happy with my coat. Another great product from Marmot. Another great price from Backcountry.
