  • Stomping Grounds:

I am wherever it is snowing, but I can usually be found in Little Cottonwood Canyon. This season I will be spending a lot of time at Mt.Baker!
  • Bio:

I have been competing on the U.S Freeskiing tour for the last couple of years and shooting ski photos with photographers in Little and Big Cottonwood Canyon. During the winter you can usually find me at Alta or Snowbird by day and recreationally dancing at Lonestar Taqueria after fish tacos by night. With the help of Line skis, Smith Optics, and Helly Hansen, I hope to keep skiing and enjoying the snow!!!

Line Pandora Ski - Women's

January 13, 2009

Regardless of the conditions, skiing in the middle of the summer can be one of the best days of the season just for the experience. The Pandoras are lightweight and nimble, making them a great ski to have when hiking and skiing in the middle of the summer!

Smith Shoreline Sunglasses - Polarized Lens

Smith Shoreline Sunglasses - Polarized Lens

Rating for this product: 5 October 15, 2009

These sunglasses fit my head really well. The arms are not too tight, but just snug enough that I could wear them biking or trail running. With that said, I think that they are light enough to wear when active. If I was out on a bright day in the snow, I think that these would shelter my eyes completely.

Line Sir Francis Bacon Alpine Ski

January 29, 2009

The Sir Francis Bacons are a pretty soft, playful ski. For a guy your size, I would definitely recommend the 130's. I skied mine almost every day last year. They are perfect for pow(the best pow skis I have ever skied) and you can still ski them in other conditions once you get used to the size underfoot. It just takes a little more time and effort to get them from edge to edge. You will love these skis when it is deep. So effortless!!!

Fun, casual Smiths

Smith Habit Sunglasses

Smith Habit Sunglasses

Rating for this product: 5 January 16, 2009

These are my favorite casual sunglasses because they block out so much sun and they are really lightweight. Maybe not the perfect fit for hiking, biking, or touring, but they have great coverage so that you aren't squinting while doing whatever else.

One of the fattest women's skis on the market

Line Pandora Ski - Women's

Line Pandora Ski - Women's

Rating for this product: 5 January 14, 2009

The pandora is a fun, light ski that will perform well in any kind of conditions. Not too stiff, not too soft, it will help you make great turns in the resort or in the backcountry. At 110 underfoot, this ski will float in deep snow and is perfectly reasonable skiing hardpack snow or crud and if 110 sounds too big, just remember the poplar woodcore that will make it easy to snap turns out wherever you need to do so.

If I can ski them, you can

Line Mothership Alpine Ski

Line Mothership Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 January 14, 2009

At 5'8", 125 lbs., I hear a lot of comments from people wondering if the Mothership is really my ski or if I am just carrying them for someone else. Seriously? Yes they are stiff, but that doesn't mean you can't dance on them. Plus, they have a little early rise, so they ski a bit shorter than their listed length. If I were to have only one pair of skis this season, these would be the boards. They are a reasonable size underfoot, so you don't have too much ski when it is hardpack and you definitely have enough when the snow is piling up. The flex pattern makes them extremely trustworthy. The only thing they may not be too great for would be hardpack bumps, but who likes to ski those anyhow?

No more huge goggles

Smith Heiress Goggle

Smith Heiress Goggle

Rating for this product: 5 January 13, 2009

Ladies if you have a small face or small nose, the heiress is the perfect goggle. I have a few different Smith helmets that these goggles fit great with and finally don't have my goggles pushing down on my nose all day. Practical and cute, this women-specific design works well with a hat or a helmet!
