  • Stomping Grounds:

    Mt. Hood, Mt. Bachelor, Oregon
  • Bio:

I am a 55 y.o. family nurse practitioner and live on Mt. Hood, practice in Sandy, Oregon. I consider myself from Seattle, have lived in the Pacific Northwest all of my adult life with a couple of stints in the New England (Boston and western Maine) for graduate school.

Started skiing at 40 and realized after working a 9-5 job five days a week in an urban setting, I wanted to develop a career that would be in demand anywhere I wanted to go and ski. After hanging with the the Crystal Mountain Ski Patrol, found my interest in health care, so the short of the long story, here I am.

I teach alpine skiing at Mt. Hood Meadows. Just returned to learning telemark skiing 2 years ago and will eventually convert over to AT gear.

Usually travel to Europe and Canada to ski, and have a timeshare up at Blackcomb mountain.

BTW, the hairy fellow in the pic is Mika, a 2 y.o. Bernese Mountain dog who also loves the snow!
