Better than an Osprey?!

Deuter Futura 32 Backpack - 1950cu in

Deuter Futura 32 Backpack - 1950cu in

Just when you thought you couldn't find a better day pack than the Osprey Stratos 34 along comes the Deuter Furtura 32-ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!! The Germans know what they are doing when it comes to back packs. Craftsmanship, comfort, space it's all there. Took the Deuter Furtura 32 on a hike just yeaterday and WOW! One thing I noticed about the Furtura 32 right off the bat is that it doesn't creak and squeek like "ALL" the Osprey back packs. Wish I could give it 10 stars!

Better than the old model Stratos!

Osprey Packs Stratos 34 Backpack - 2000-2200cu in

Osprey Packs Stratos 34 Backpack - 2000-2200cu in

Rating for this product: 5 August 5, 2010

I thought they could not improve on the old Stratos Series,,,I was wrong! Just received the new and improved Stratos 34 from o2 GearShop and once again Osprey has out done themselves. Superior quality and craftsmanship, super comfy,,,I wish I could give it 6 stars! Didn't want to stray from BackCountry when purchasing the Stratos 34-lrg-black however BackCountry's inventory of leading Stratos back packs sucks. BackCountry has been out of the more popular size and color Osprey backpacks for months now! BackCountry's loss is o2 GearShop's gain!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not as good as an Osprey!

Gregory Z 30 Backpack - 1650-1920cu in

Gregory Z 30 Backpack - 1650-1920cu in

Rating for this product: 1 July 26, 2010

Just received the Z30 and right out of the box you can tell that the quality is below par. The stiching as well as the craftsmanship is lousy. The zippers are small and not nearly the quality you would find on a Osprey Back Pack. Would of loved to trade the Z30 in for a Stratos 30-lrg-grey or a Manta 30 lrg black or even a Atmos-lrg-blue but BackCountry has been out of these and other back packs for almost two months now! Somebody in their ordering dept. needs to get it together. Hello 02 Gear Shop!!!!!!!!!!-Fully stocked and ready to go!!

I returned my Silo 30 the same day I received it. The waist-belt is a total hunk of junk. The shoulder straps are paper thin. Never again with Arc'teryx! Osprey forever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The waist belt on this thing looks rather cheap? Is it good quality and does it handle a load?

The best day pack I have ever owned. Can't figure out why Osprey changed the 2009 Stratos 24. Don't mess with it if it's workin! Bought the last 2009 Stratos 24 Lrg./black from Backcountry. Backcountry rocks!! Thanks JP L.
