Norrøna Trollveggen Dri3 Climbing Bib - Men's

November 18, 2009

I would say definitely yes if the pant fits you correctly.

Currently, I have these pants in a medium (exchanged from a small). I am 5’9” / 170lbs with a 32” waist for size comparison. I am contemplating another return for two reasons. First, the pants are very slim. They are slim through the seat and all the way down to the ankles. At first I ordered a small it was moose knuckle city and not bueno. After receiving the medium I still think the pant maybe too tight (layering / boot cuff). Secondly, the weight of the pant might be too heavy for my taste. This is because I want to use the pant for climbing and skiing.

What I will say about this pant is the quality of construction is unreal. You will not be disappointed. I dig the upper half of the bib how it is nice and soft, the full side zip that even goes up and around your seat, the small thigh pocket, and the simple waist belt. The material is great. It is sort of like a hard / soft shell hybrid – very breathable, flexible, and waterproof. You have nothing to loss – definitely order a pair (size up) and if you don’t like them return them.

Oakley Jawbone Sunglasses - Polarized

Oakley Jawbone Sunglasses - Polarized

Rating for this product: 4 September 17, 2009

The Jawbone Polarized - are hopefully the "do all" of sunglasses. I am an active cyclist, some what of a bad ass skier, and a mountaineer. The jawbones were perfect while I was on my bike for training and I bet they will preform while I am on Rainier for my expedition training, The fit is perfect. The glasses fit well against my slender long face, keeping my sight clean and blocking out the rays. I will definitely give a follow up review once both lenses are tested. Keep it real, Dave.

MontBell U.L. Super Stretch Hugger #1 Sleeping Bag: 15 Degree Down

MontBell U.L. Super Stretch Hugger #1 Sleeping Bag: 15 Degree Down

Rating for this product: 5 October 17, 2008

This was a great purchase. It is extremely warm, ultra light, and very packable. The "super stretch" feature is amazing at high altitude were I sleep like a flopping fish. The stretch feature really allows you to move around without distorting the interior volume of the bag keeping the heat in. The regular size bag fits my 5'9" and 170lb frame perfect.

You will not be disappointed with this bag and if you are just send it back with Backcountry's bitchin guarantee. Oh, and call a representative to receive a price match if you find it cheaper somewhere else.
