Good Boot, High Price

Vans Cirro Snowboard Boot

Vans Cirro Snowboard Boot

Rating for this product: 4 January 26, 2009

These boots are comfortable, stiff, and fit my wide foot w/o a problem. I'm still on the fence with the dual zone boa system being worth the extra $$ over the single zone.

On the mountain, the boots respond well at high speed and in the soft stuff. They're stiff boots, which can be a negative in the terrain park. Support for the heal is a little weak, so plan on setting them up with the provided supports and some custom spacers.

4/5 stars for price.

Good Value

Burton Snowboard Binding

Burton Snowboard Binding

Rating for this product: 5 January 26, 2009

Solid bindings for the price. If you're a once or twice per year snowboarder, getting more expensive bindings is a waste of money. These are stiff, durable, largely adjustable, and stylish.
