  • Stomping Grounds:

Anywhere in New England, from the peaks of Killington VT, to the shores of Newport RI and back again, because you can never have enough Outback Pizza
  • Bio:

As the Director of Operations of the most elite Ski & Gun Club in all of Andover VT, I am asked my opinion on a variety of issues that have to do with gear. From helping close friends pick the appropriate sized ski boot for them to perform and enjoy their upcoming ski season, to keg selections, to advice on technical ski jackets. I love gear almost as much as being up in the mountains themselves, as having the right gear can make or brake your trip. I select gear that has high quality & performance but that doesn't sacrifice comfort. My advice on ski related gear is based on experience - I have been skiing since I was 3, have been in the PSIA since I was 17, and am a master certified ski instructor. Did I mention I love gear, tramdock, SAC & Backcountry.com?

Not your grandma's apron

Swix Waxing Apron

Swix Waxing Apron

Rating for this product: 4 October 17, 2008

Aah yes, this apron is more than your standard apron that ma used ta have around the house. Though the picture doesn't show it well, the apron has multiple pockets for wax/glasses/synthetic cork/wax scraper/Burton 420 kit, etc. Your technical director/tuning expert will appreciate this swix gear. At the CRS&GC, ours certainly does! The only issue and why this doesn't get five stars is the lack of overall coverage and slim fit a full figured person requires.
