Primus 100 Gram PowerGas Canister - 4oz

Rating for this product: 3 November 24, 2008

The 100g size is about right for a weekend or as a backup. Too small for thru hike use, go with the larger size.

Feels So Good

Patagonia Micro Puff Jacket - Men's

Patagonia Micro Puff Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 November 3, 2008

This is a great warming jacket, that not only keeps me toasty warm waiting with my son for the school bus, but is also made from recycled poly, so save an oil field. Large enough to layer underneath, and skirt drawstrings make it adjustable enough to wear under or over any of my shell options. Packs down to nothing, came with its own stuff sack, and very generous pockets for my gloves, overmitts, or a hat. Love this jacket!

Super light weight, fantastic amounts of light, a very secure lock and a night vision saving red mode; I've gone back for seconds! I don't give 5 stars, and I give this light all 5.

You really got this one right! Who'd where a white shirt on the trail? Who'd where a cotton T on a run? This shirt solves both! I've been following Karl since before Day One, and this shirt will be with me long after the footfalls have died away. Go SpeedGoat Karl! And get this shirt!

Great Bag

Sea To Summit Sil Cordura Ultra-light Compression Sacks

Sea To Summit Sil Cordura Ultra-light Compression Sacks

Rating for this product: 4 September 8, 2008

Great bag. Wish the XL was available, as I have a larger sleeping back that could use the breathing room when not cinched down. Weighs nothing and the straps are a snap to sort out when stuffing. Just need that next larger size...

MSR WhisperLite Stove

August 28, 2008

Do you have to prime it? What is the (general) procedure? Can you simmer, as well as blast?FYI, I'm looking for a reason to replace my C0l3man Peak 1 dual-fuel single, which doesn't cut it below 40F, but isn't a feather weight, either. Recs welcome?

Ex Officio Buzz Off Convertible Pant - Women's

July 14, 2008

They are stretchy, but I'm not certain if it's elastic, or perhaps one of those stretchy micro-fiber materials.
