Casa 6 Experience

Mountain Hardwear Casa 6 Footprint PL

Rating for this product: 4 August 8, 2008

We took the tent camping in the Smokies. It set up pretty easily despite the instructions that are sort of confusing. We used a footprint and it helped repel the ground moisture from the several days of rain that preceded our stay. Luckily, we did not have any more rain so I cannot comment on the tent's ability to withstand weather. My only negative is the vestibule on the fly. I am not sure I set it up properly, and the instructions were not clear. I will search out the solution online now that am back and hopefully next time, I set it up correctly. It would be very tight with 6 people as well. I set it up with an air mattress and it had plenty of room for my wife, myself, and our stuff. Six people would be very cozy to say the least. Overall, it is well made, and very sturdy once set up.
