  • Stomping Grounds:

When I ski, I ski mostly at Snowbasin. When I wakeboard you'll find me at Pineview. Anything else I'll be in Ogden.
  • Bio:

I'm an accounting student at Weber State that can't get enough of the big outdoors. In the winter I love to go skiing and in the summer I love to bike and wakeboard.

Bulletproof, but not technical

Oakley Icon Backpack 3.0

Oakley Icon Backpack 3.0

Rating for this product: 3 December 9, 2008

I purchased the Icon 2.0 in 2003 and it has been a great student/travel bag. I've used it nearly every day for my basic school needs and it has survived a lot. I've also traveled to Europe and the Caribbean multiple time with it. Now the bottom is starting to fray and one shoulder strap is starting to separate. The pack can survive a lot but I would never use the Icon to hike, ski, or bike with. The waist strap for me is pretty useless. I'm 6'1" and the uncomfortable waist strap goes around my ribs. For students it's great, but not for anything else.
