a cross of too tight and too baggy...

Arc'teryx Sidewinder AR Jacket - Women's

Arc'teryx Sidewinder AR Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 July 2, 2009

Bottom line, this jacket has top notch quality and is a perfect shell - if you're lucky enough for it to fit properly. The hips are definitely tight (and I don't have big hips!) while the chest area is baggy (good mobility of skiing and climbing, though). I love the stowable hood, has great shape and a drawstring in the back to cinch it up if no hats are being warn. The picture is a little misleading...makes the jacket look a bit longer than it actually is (I find this a common problem with Arc'teryx). Unfortunately, I'll be returning this jacket because of the fit...if you wanna try it out, order a size up.

The North Face Hammerhead Backpack - 730cu in

The North Face Hammerhead Backpack - 730cu in

Rating for this product: 5 March 5, 2009

I have yet to use the pack on an expedition, but am very pleased with it thus far. Just to warn some shoppers: keep in mind that the pack is more stiff than others because of the mesh trampoline back panel and an X-Vent frame - great for hot days. This means that the bottom of the pack needs to rest right below the waistline on the back; so people with short torsos may find that this pack rides too far up. Tons of storage opportunities for a small pack!

Lolë Sumatra Surplice Top - Women's

September 18, 2008

How accurate do the sizings fit, I seem to fall exactly on a medium (10) but am concerned that this will end up being a little tight. Also, my cup size is 36 C, will I have problems in this top?
