The North Face Apex Bionic Jacket - Men's
November 6, 2008
Pros : Warm, extremely waterproof and durable, looks great, stretches nicely Cons : very boxy, sizing errs on the side of small, doesn't breathe well Overall, its a great jacket, totally worth the money if you're going to use it for anything from walking to class to day hiking. Its going to be in my wardrobe for quite a while

DAKINE Pro 2 Backpack - 1600cu in
June 25, 2008
I owned a pretty basic Dakine model before this so i decided to take it to the next level and boy am I impressed. There are SO many helpful gadgets on this backpack. You can literally carry anything (with a little creativity) at little or no expense to your back. I use mine for seasonal skiing, school and traveling across the country between my college and home. A seriously durable and versatile pack. A+ However, if you look hard enough you can find it at even cheaper prices. I got mine with the black box pattern at Rocky Mountain Trail. ENJOY
