Stoic Bombshell Bib - Men's

Stoic Bombshell Bib - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 November 28, 2010

Great technical ski pant. I'm a Large pant and the Bombshell fit true to size. First day I took them out I took the bib off (simple zip off) and the pants still fit great without it. Colors are spot-on to the images above as well.

Great jacket!

Stoic Bombshell Jacket - Men's

Stoic Bombshell Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 November 28, 2010

Took out my new bombshell the last two weekends. Even was out in 10 degree weather. This jacket is a technical shell, and not insulated, but the wind-proofing, waterproofing, and breathability help ensure that you won't need many layers under this solid jacket. On the 10 degree day i had two thin baselayers and medium weight wool sweater underneath, and I had my vents open in about 1.5 hours. I wear a large jacket and this fit true to size.

K2 Kung Fujas Alpine Ski

K2 Kung Fujas Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 5 November 5, 2010

I had last year's model which were slightly narrower than this year, but the concept is still the same. I skied Utah with it and it was my one quiver ski last year. Last year, it was rated one of the top park skis, but it surprised everyone in being rated as a top 5 all mountain ski as well. We don't have a ton of ice in Utah, but it held on those unexpected patches. I just recommend keeping the edges tuned regularly if you'll be skiing a lot of ice back east. A definite recommendation....

Norrøna Lyngen Down Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 10, 2009

Just came to work in -1 degree Fahrenheit. All i had was a t-shirt on under this jacket and I wasn't cold whatsoever. Very lightweight too. I couldn't be happier with the Norrona Lyngen. The Amazon Green rocks too.

Berghaus Liskamm Down Jacket - Men's

Berghaus Liskamm Down Jacket - Men's

Rating for this product: 3 December 7, 2009

Even though this is a Men's jacket, the zipper is on the opposite side..fyi. Also, The yellow looks great in the image above, and the actual color is the same...though the black liner of the jacket shows through at the seams and makes the jacket appear dirty.

Oakley Splice Goggle

Oakley Splice Goggle

Rating for this product: 3 December 7, 2009

If you have a medium to big nose, i'd might recommend another goggle. Don't get me wrong, these are quality goggles. Though if you have any gerth to your schnoz, you might want to re-consider.

Marker Jester 16 Ski Binding

Marker Jester 16 Ski Binding

Rating for this product: 5 December 7, 2009

These bindings might be some of the lightest bindings this year ( roughly 4.5 lbs). My din is only at 8, and even though I've pushed them hard so far this year, no accidental releases to mention.

Salomon SPK Pro Model Ski Boot - Men's

Salomon SPK Pro Model Ski Boot - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 December 1, 2009

Great boot. Real comfortable fit. I had a store rep tell me that the last is actually 100, not 98 as posted here on the site. I almost went with the Full Tilt Seth which is a 98 last, but it was a bit too snug. The SPK was much better and more comfortable, for my foot. There are gel pads under the heel too, which helps with the hard landings and also makes walking in them more bearable. I just added custom foot beds and can't wait to go back out. If you need a ton of customization with this boot, I'd recommend going with another boot. Due to the way its constructed - leather and thin plastic - there's not much to play with. But if it fits you right off the bat, then you're going to have happy feet!!

No fog and a great fit....

Smith I/O Interchangeable Goggle

Smith I/O Interchangeable Goggle

Rating for this product: 5 December 1, 2009

I first bought the Oakley Splice's and they pinched my nose a little too much. I have a slightly bigger than average nose, so maybe that was it. Bought the I/O's and couldn't be happier. I grew up on the East Coast and never wore goggles before. Just didnt like them on face and i could read the bumps as well with them on. The I/O's changed my perception of goggles all together. the default lense worked great in the sun and in the overcast too. Fits great with my Smith Maze helmet as well.

Review Title

Full Tilt Seth Morrison Pro Model Ski Boot - Men's

Full Tilt Seth Morrison Pro Model Ski Boot - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 November 23, 2009

i'm about a 100mm last and still tried these on with a pro fitter. They were a little too snug, but the boot fitter explained how the liner in this boot is most customizable liner out there this year. He went on to say that my 100mm foot would easily be accommodated by simply customizing the liner a little. He said the shell could be punched a little too. A Full Tilt rep explained the same thing and said that this boot could accommodate up to about 101-102 last with custom work, but that they wouldn't go more than that. Also, if you have too much discomfort on the inside of the ankle, the bad news is that there isn't much room to punch the boot in that specific area, based on the nature and construction of the boot in the old school style. This is also a fairly stiff boot (120 ish), but you can easily replace the tongue with a softer one, as the whole flex of this boot is controlled by the tongue. If you're jumping cliffs, this stiffness might be perfect. If not, you might want to put in a different tongue.
