Moment Night Train Ski

Moment Night Train Ski

Rating for this product: 5 October 29, 2010

These skis are pretty much all you need. I know that people say this is a powder ski, however I rocked these things at Snowbird all season last year no matter the conditions and still had a blast. They are reverse reverse ya which makes the snow pile up in your face and the super lightness of these skis will surprise you on the days that you just don't stop hiking baldy. Plus the graphics are pretty much the most amazing thing I have even seen. I would fully recommend these skis to anyone who loves to ski like Dexter Rutecki.

Good Goggles with Helmet

Smith I/O Interchangeable Goggle

Smith I/O Interchangeable Goggle

Rating for this product: 3 December 16, 2009

These are cool looking, super light, and there a ton of color options, with all that said they make a great goggle when wearing a smith helmet or any helmet, however if you wear a hat get ready for some chilly eyeballs and alot of watering eyes. Not sure how fast you ski or ride but it doesnt take much speed to get the air flowing in these things and really messing with your eyes, I had some pretty horrible experiences with these goggles when I just had my hat on, this is the biggest take back I think in these goggles, however wear that helmet and you should be fine. The problem or should I say the issue is that there is a small gap where the lens and the frame meet its' great for non fogging, but when there is no helmet above it to direct the air the correct way then it just becomes cold, and annoying. They looks sweet tho!

You Get What You Pay For

DAKINE Cobra Glove - Men's

DAKINE Cobra Glove - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 November 5, 2009

This glove is great for 30+ degrees outside and is not meant to take a huge beating, my gloves ripped at the fingers but they survived the winter, Dakine also offered to replace them which was pretty cool of them. I would suggest these for in bounds skiing and shoveling the driveway. I liked them alot, stylish and easy to throw on, never had finger issues either (bunched up fingers inside). For the price pick up a couple pairs!

Backcountry.com Energy Belt

Backcountry.com Energy Belt

Rating for this product: 5 November 3, 2009

I'm catching up on all my reviews today, and I have this belt and LOVE it, the quality is amazing it's made my spacecraft and you can tell. The graphics are ergo and the holes never wear out. I have a small waist and there are plenty of extra holes to keep this belt on me!. I would highly suggest this belt over any big named brands out there.

Abe Lincoln Could Rock This Hat!

Backcountry.com Creek Softshell Hat

Backcountry.com Creek Softshell Hat

Rating for this product: 2 November 3, 2009

Ok, first lets start with; Yes I know I work for Backcountry, I support the product team and everything they do they primarily do a great job with most product they push out, this hat however has a very awkward feel to it.

1. The Hat is too deep, it will go to your eyebrows so if you have a unabraw then this hat will dig with your style.
2. The Softshell is a great material for a Jacket not so much a hat, it tends to bunch up in the back (this is primarly because there is so much fabric not being filled up by the hat) My Welder Jacket is what I rock when it Rains not a hat.
3. The Goat stitching is a bit off (looks like a diagram to show you the diffrent meat cuts or muscles of our amazing mountain goat logo.
4. The Brim is HUGE, it creates this strange flair on the sides of the hat so the hat does't feel snug on the front of your head.

Well with all that said, if you have a tall head and like to rock the low riding hat then this is that hat for you. Again I love Backcountry product and I think it's some of the best out there, I was just not to impressed with this hat. Hopefully they will take these reviews and make the perfect hat for next season. Thanks!

A Cool Ski

4FRNT Skis VCT Alpine Ski

4FRNT Skis VCT Alpine Ski

Rating for this product: 4 December 9, 2008

I took these skis out at the Bird for a day of whatever I could find for soft snow skiing, and I wasnt too impressed, the ski has a pretty center heavy weight to it, and also the flex is just not there, about a med.flex in my book. They def killed it on the groomers and were super fast, but off the trail they seemed pretty tough to turn (might be because they bindings were pretty close to center) weight of these skis helped them charge the crud, weight can take you for a ride if your not paying attention, ski them, don't let them ski you, not a huge ski compared to the boats out there now, but big enough for pow and fun!

Oakley Trail Mountain Bike Jersey - Long Sleeve - Men's

Oakley Trail Mountain Bike Jersey - Long Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 June 25, 2008

I got this jersey a while back, love it great buy and great price. It keeps me cool on those hot days on the mountain yet it keeps the sweat from building up also. It is slightly water proof, so if you do get a afternoon sprinkle you won't get drenched. However if you fall flat on your face in the creek that runs through the DH park don't come back to me asking why your all wet. Great buy I would def. suggest this product!!!!!!
