Love this jacket. Great cut, great material, great hood. I got this in exchange for the backcountry shift jacket and this one is definitely warmer. I'm 5'5" and 115 - got a small and I like the room it offers me.

Patagonia Reversible Puffball Jacket - Infants'

Rating for this product: 5 January 14, 2010

We had this last year for my daughter too. We tried a couple different things on this year but came back to the puffball. Love it! It is a bit thin but I think it must be pretty warm. And if it's really cold we just layer her underneath.

Sorel Caribou Boot - Women's

Sorel Caribou Boot - Women's

Rating for this product: 2 January 14, 2010

These things were ENORMOUS. I wear a size 9 or 9.5 normally and I ordered them in a size 9. Even with several layers of socks these things were swimming on my feet. I know sorels have a great reputation but these boots were not for me. I wanted something that I could really walk in and these things were just too clunky. Ended up with a pair of Keens that I love.

Too big but nice coat

Patagonia Down Jacket - Girls'

Patagonia Down Jacket - Girls'

Rating for this product: 4 December 15, 2009

I knew patagonia runs big but was hoping we could sneak by with an xxs small this year for our 3 year old. No such luck - will be ordering another coat in 3T - this was ENORMOUS. She looked like the Michelin man. But other than that the coat seemed nice.

Cute but too big

Patagonia Beanie Hat - Kids'

Patagonia Beanie Hat - Kids'

Rating for this product: 4 December 15, 2009

The hat seems great but it was just too big for my daughter. She's 3 and we got an XXS since we have another patagonia fleece hat that is also xxs. However this one was enormous - so we had to return it.

Warm and toasty but she doesn't like the mittens

Columbia Bonnie Bear Fleece Jacket - Toddler Girls'

Columbia Bonnie Bear Fleece Jacket - Toddler Girls'

Rating for this product: 4 November 22, 2009

Overall this is a good coat. I actually think the fleece is nice and thick and keeps her warm. I would agree that it runs small, as I ordered a 4T for my just 3-year old daughter and it fits perfect with maybe a little room to grow. However, the sizing chart seems to be right on - so just follow their sizing recommendations.

My daughter does not like the mittens - they don't have a thumb so it annoys her. But I think that if we are outside and it's biting she may not mind it. We'll see.

I'm sure these are good sandals...if your child has snake-like feet. These things are ridiculously skinny.

Love these for their coverage. Ordered a 4 and probably could have fit into a 2 but guess I would rather them be loose than too tight. I'm normally anywhere from a 0-4 in pants (depending on maker, etc) so this probably falls right in the middle.
