Super cute!

Icebreaker SuperFine140 Butterfly Line Scoop T-Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Women's

Icebreaker SuperFine140 Butterfly Line Scoop T-Shirt - Short-Sleeve - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 April 30, 2009

This picture does not do this t-shirt justice. The scoop neck is quite pretty, it's a bit more open than it looks, with a nice wide hem. The pattern dresses it up enough that you can do a hike & then grab a beer on a patio and look fine.

Thule Spare Me

April 8, 2009

My spare tire is off-centre on my vehicle (more to the passenger side). Will this rack still work without my bike sticking way out on the side?

Helly Hansen Eir Boot - Women's

March 25, 2009

I was told when I bought mine that the boots are already waterproof because they are leather, but should still be treated with some sort of waterproofing leather protector anyway. Wipe the salt/snow off right away and air dry them, don't put them near heat (radiator, etc) as this will just dry out the leather.

SmartWool Midweight Bottom - Women's

March 11, 2009

Hi. I'm looking for wool long underwear that would actually have a bit of spandex or lycra in the blend. A good fit, with a lower, non-binding waistline (to minimize the muffin top) would be great.

Awesome coat!

Marmot Venus Down Jacket - Women's

Marmot Venus Down Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 4 March 10, 2009

I just bought this coat in Fernie (in a great purpley raisin colour), and wore it for my walk to work in the -25C (that's -13F for you Yankees) weather, and it kept me warm. Great fit, the elastic on the sleeves was good because it stayed over my ski gloves, and the length was good, not too long, but not a short coat by any means. A fleece lining around the colour & in the pockets would have been groovy, but still a great coat. Me likey!!!!

Great concept, but....

The North Face Foil Thermal Jacket - Women's

The North Face Foil Thermal Jacket - Women's

Rating for this product: 2 March 10, 2009

I saw this in Val d' Isere (where they had a great lime colour), and thought it looked great, and loved the stretchy sleeves, but was pretty disappointed that it didn't come in an XL. I don't know if that would have made a difference for us more "bustylicious" girls, though. The fir on me was very short, the diagonal seams from neck to armpit were pretty stiff, cut at an odd angle & made for an odd fit, and the top shoulder seam was very narrow, which does nothing but make your shoulders look, well,, narrow. Would probably look good on a size 0 gal.

Smartwool are the only ski socks I will use. I'm always grabbing them up when I find them on sale (which is not very often up her in Calgary). Me likey!!!
