Ok Street Glove

Coal Connors Fingerless Glove

Coal Connors Fingerless Glove

Rating for this product: 3 January 10, 2012

They are a really lose weave so not all that warm of a glove and they easily get snagged. But true to the size and nice when it's the in-between full gloves and nothing especially when it comes to operating my touch screen phone.

Good Convertiable

ExOfficio Nio Amphi Convertible Pant - Men's

ExOfficio Nio Amphi Convertible Pant - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 10, 2012

Great material and relativity easy to convert pants to shorts. Wear them out climbing and sailing and are great for both (the waterproofing comes in handy for the later). Even makes for a good quick drying swim suit after the long races. They are a bit long for me but not enough that it has been a problem

Great Glove for Around Town

Black Diamond WindWeight Glove - Men's

Black Diamond WindWeight Glove - Men's

Rating for this product: 4 January 10, 2012

Second pair of these and still do a great job. Have them in black as well and just as good. Size is a little tight upfront but the pack out a bit and the picture doesn't do the color justice; "wren" equals green

Soft and Sweet

SmartWool NTS Microweight Boxer Brief - Men's

SmartWool NTS Microweight Boxer Brief - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 10, 2012

Picked up a couple of these to act as a first layer while skiing, running whatever and liked it so much I picked up more. Very soft and true to the sizing. They are merino wool though so they won't last as long as a cotton or poly blend if you don't take care of them right (avoid the dryer at a very least)

As expected with the Black Diamond brand, this head lamp was great. Easily adjustable, bright and doesn't look half-bad either

Awesome Tent

Kelty Corrie 2-Person 3-Season Tent

Kelty Corrie 2-Person 3-Season Tent

Rating for this product: 5 September 29, 2009

Took it hiking around the Rockies and was not disappointed! Packs small, very light and extremlly easy to put up and take down. Held out the rain vary nicely and even the hail and sleet. Only complaint with it is with two people and gear it would be tight at best, you'll get to know your tent-mate really well. Also get the footprint if you are going anywhere other than a sandy beach, the bottom, though sturdy, is pretty thin.

Simple to Use

Katadyn Micropur Purification Tablets - 30 pack

Katadyn Micropur Purification Tablets - 30 pack

Rating for this product: 4 September 29, 2009

Went back and forth between these and other water purifiers and decided on these in the end...was not disappointed. After you dropped them in and waited for it to do it's thing, no foul taste and feel safe drinking the water. Only draw backs are it does reccomend waiting awhile before drinking the water and it is for a set amount for each tablet. I suppose you could get creative and say .5tablet for .5 liter...but who really wants to do math

Good Hiking Stove

Primus Gravity Multifuel Stove w/Fuel Bottle

Primus Gravity Multifuel Stove w/Fuel Bottle

Rating for this product: 4 September 29, 2009

Light and small when packed away which is great for hiking around with it. Easy to light and is fairly stable and once you are done with it, cools off quickly and back to the trail. Fuel bottle that comes with it is a little on the cheaper side but can always upgrade it if the need is there

CamelBak Omega HydroTanium Hydration Reservoir

CamelBak Omega HydroTanium Hydration Reservoir

Rating for this product: 5 September 29, 2009

Nice and durable, no spilling and easy to clean...all you want in a reservoir. If you plan to use it in the winter it would be a good idea to get an insulator for the hose or be sure and get all the water out, it will freeze and potenitally break the nozzel

Little bit lighter than the full zip but still a great pull over that'll stop the elements. The tourso is a bit short but the size is true other than that

Excellent Watch

Highgear TerraTech Altimeter Watch

Highgear TerraTech Altimeter Watch

Rating for this product: 4 January 26, 2009

Used it for the first time over the weekend doing some backcountry skiing and worked great. Didn't fog up, accurate elevation and even gives you a little graph to show your decent/ascent. The only complaint I have is the compass doesn't stay on, I admit this could be user error but haven't figured it out just yet

Keeps your feet dry and warm, only complaint I have is when not wearing a ski boot they tend to fall and bunch, but other than that great sock. Be sure not to put them in the dryer!

Good Shoe

Montrail Magnet Climbing Shoe

Montrail Magnet Climbing Shoe

Rating for this product: 5 January 26, 2009

First pair of climbing shoe and I like them. Ordered the first pair and was way to small (when you do the conversion stick with your actual shoe size) but got the right size and feel great. The pointed toe really helps jamming your foot in holes and using the walls features and your stick to the wall pretty wall

Great Layer

Icebreaker BodyFit 260 Crew - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Icebreaker BodyFit 260 Crew - Long-Sleeve - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 16, 2009

Use this top with the 260 bottom's and makes a great layer. Went snowshoeing in 10-20degF weather with a brisk wind and all I was more than warm with these and a wind shell on. It's soft and even after a long day of working was still fresh. Worth the price, fit is true. Remember, you can wash it but don't dry it! It is wool after all...

Icebreaker BodyFit 260 Legging w/Fly - Men's

Rating for this product: 5 January 16, 2009

Use this top with the 260 top and makes a great layer. Worked almost too well in 10-20degF weather with a brisk wind but kept me nice and warm. It's soft and even after a long day of working was still fresh. Worth the price, fit is true though a bit baggier than I expected. Remember, you can wash it but don't dry it! It is wool after all...
